Hopefully we get a break on some of these injury situations and the Packers bad luck will take a swing to good luck.

I'm thinking that the injury situation at db's is going to effect the final 53 quite a bit.
with Williams, Burnette, Hayward, & Bush injured, but it seems they will be ready to play, if not by opening day, soon after, they will all make the team.
That being said, I see The Packers keeping 10 db's, filling out the roster:
Jennings, McMillian, House, Shields, Hyde, & Banjo
Banjo has really came on in the last week, I originally didn't think he would make it, but now I'm thining he's in.
To be cut , or in Richardson's case maybe another year of IR.
Richardson, Powell, Means, Smith, Nixon
Smith and Nixon might have a chance at the PS.
Keeping 10 db's at the start, would mean haviing to cut back at another position, maybe 1 less TE and WR to start the season.
I guess we will all know in another week.

Great news that the strain is only minor. Hoping to see Mr. Reliable back on the field and healthy all season.

I had a strain heal in about 2 weeks, so I hope he heals by week 1!

Me too actually! As of just this week I believe it's healed. And Burnett is a way more impressive physical specimen than my scrawny self, so I'm thinking he'll be good to go vs. San Fran. Fingers crossed.

He will likely be more susceptible to having it flare up again.
It could be nagging him all season long.
It is best to assume that all injuries are worse that originally reported.

It's kind of like telling your wife you'll be home 2 hours later than you actually get there. Everyone is happy, happy, happy!
