I love the fact Andrew can and will bring some of this stuff out now..( can't wait to hear his take on Brett if he does come clean)

I feel the need to toot my own horn cuz for a LONG time I kept saying that Andrew had a huge hand in dealing with free agents but it seemed like no one believed me

How could anyone not believe you? The dude was the financial man!! lol Do people actually think that Ted writes up the contracts???

Just finished reading the article. Good read. I hope Brandt continues to write these type of things. It's nice to have a 'insider' give his take that is not afraid to put his name to his words. Like, an 'unnamed source'.

That surprised me too. It would've been way too much. I'm glad the Texans outbid them.

That was only if he was healthy enough to be on the active 45. Otherwise it would have been $5 million. Which I think a chunk of that would have been a considerate portion of a thank you for what you've done for us type money.

Thanks. I read the article a few hours ago and had forgotten about that detail.

We struggled for a while last season without Ahman until Ryan Grant came into his own with his stellar play, earning a stunning contract after limited experience.

To me, this sounds like Brandt thinks the Pack overpaid. Is this sour milk, or just a result of the Favre fiasco? What do ya's think?

edit: yeah, I know I f'd up the CODE, but I'm hammered. Cut me some slack.

Zero2Cool (1h) : Put Quintorris in a pressure cooker.
uffda udfa (4h) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.
uffda udfa (4h) : Anyone ever used their dishwasher to make their Thanksgiving turkey?
uffda udfa (4h) : Favorite Ronnie Milsap song? Smokey Mountain Rain or Any Day Now?
uffda udfa (8h) : Favorite GM candidate... Wolf or Gutekunst?
uffda udfa (8h) : I'd rather sit them than play them too compromised.
uffda udfa (9h) : Yeah, Z. More pressure cooker talk and smoked turkeys.
Zero2Cool (9h) : If this were a regular-season game, Nelson, Adams and Allison probably would not play, MM says.
Smokey (10h) : Mason Crosby is ill, hope it's not the Flu.
Smokey (10h) : Great, can we move past that story and get back to the Atlanta game ?
Zero2Cool (10h) : Packers exec Eliot Wolf has withdrawn his name for 49ers' GM job, as @TomPelissero reported. He didn't feel it was the right time.

Zero2Cool (11h) : That's what we know.
Zero2Cool (11h) : Crosby, Mason K Illness
Smokey (11h) : Is He ill or not ?
Smokey (11h) : Raiderpride asked, "Anyone know what Crosby's illness is?"
Zero2Cool (11h) : Davante Adams expected to play- KFFL
Porforis (12h) : Alright, my opinion on Jordy has changed. If he's medically cleared to play, play him.
hardrocker950 (14h) : By Sunday we won't have any WRs
Zero2Cool (14h) : Geronimo hamstring, Janis quad. BEAUTIFUL.
Smokey (15h) : Mason Crosby, is his health OK ?
Smokey (15h) : Hello
FLORIDA PACKER88 (15h) : Davis, G-Mo, and Janis will need to step up, but all three did score last time we played ATL!
FLORIDA PACKER88 (15h) : Does Janis become a playoff hero second year in a row? Looks we're gonna have to find out either way regardless. Thank God for a healthy Cob
Smokey (15h) : Is Mason Crosby's health OK ?
Smokey (16h) : What's in your Coffee ?
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Sit Davante if he has a bad ankle. We remember 2015.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante is not going to practice until SAT at earliest.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante and Jordy may be inactive at ATL.
Smokey (18-Jan) : ROFL !!
