Regarding the DL. I have heard mentions of using Jason Hunter as a down lineman. I didn't piece it together until I read the comment above about Jenkins moving in and playing more DT, but I wonder if those two aspects are linked. |

Lumpy Lumpkin makes the team!!! I'm glad to see that! To me, he had more up side then Morency. Herron......well.......i like him. He's not flashy, just dependable. But i think in the end Lumpy showed ALOT this preseason.
The rest of the cuts don't really surprise me that much. The ONLY one that surprised me was Herron. |

:physassult: I am pissed, shocked and dismayed; GB cut Herron and the DT we just picked up is already on IR along with Jansen & Coston. Can't seem to keep anyone healthy long enough to play a whole game. Would that fall under a failure in conditioning or just GB's piss poor luck seeing as this seasons training camp was one of the easiest ever? Think the game on Monday night will provide a horror show on our "OL". Only set positions are the tackles. Who's doing the long snapping now? |

Noah never really had a chance on the roster. Pumpkin(ha ha) and Jackson are both so young and simply out play him. I liked both him and Mo. But its part of football.

He wasn't gonna develope into a pounding guy thats gonna make the BIG plays. |

Agree with the Herron vs. Bush question. Hopefully we'll pull in another gem like Grant. Lumpkin looked good in preseason, but i'm still not completely sold on Jackson. |

I think what bothers me most about cutting both herron and Mo is that they were the best backs on the team at blitz pickup. With our shakey OLine i dont think the importance of this can be underestimated. |

If our O-Line is a question mark, why cut the players who pick up the blitz best. Makes no sense. Why we kept Ahmad Bush is beyond me too. |
