With NFL teams making their cuts this weekend, some good players might become available.
Any guys out there you think the Pack should look at?
The Pats just released WR Chad Jackson. Here's a guy most of us were clamoring for when Ted Thompson traded Javon for Denver's 2nd rounder. Looks like it was a solid move to wait and nab Greg Jennings later in round two.
I would mind trying to get Jackson on the practice squad for GB if he's eligible.

QB Chris Simms, RB Louis Rankin, DT Montavious Stanley are among few that would be interesting to have on the team.

This is the "Diamond In The Rough" part of the season. The best teams are going to have the best cast-offs so let the bidding begin.
Injuries will dictate may of these kid's opportunities over the next 4 weeks.
My suggestion is... If you were cut. Stay in shape. Or.... learn to talk "Canadian." real fast.

I noticed Larry Tripplett was cut by the Seahawks. Obviously, there could be a very good reason for that (injury, salary, or performance), but, ostensibly, he looks like a guy that could really help out in the DT rotation. He's only 29, has started every game the last two years, and registers a decent amount of tackles for a DL.
Anyone know anything more about this guy than I do?

I do know he's not in Buffalo anymore because of Marcus Stroud. They could not keep two that high-caliber DTs in one team. Tripplett was a Pro Bowl candidate in both his years at Buffalo.
