Flynn is No. 2 QB

Green Bay - Matt Flynn has beaten out Brian Brohm to backup Aaron Rodgers.
According to the "unofficial" depth chart just released by the Packers, Flynn, the seventh-round pick, is listed ahead of Brohm, the second-rounder.
Other things of note:
* Tory Humphrey is the No. 2 TE ahead of Jermichael Finley;
* Tracy White is the backup to A.J. Hawk at WLB;
* Desmond Bishop is the second MLB;
* Brandon Chillar is the second SLB;
* Will Blackmon and Tramon Williams are the backup cornerbacks.
* Blackmon, Williams and Jordy Nelson are punt returners. in order.
* Backmon and Nelson are the kick returners.
* Daryn Colledge, Allen Barbre, Jason Spitz, Josh Sitton and Tony Moll are the offensive line backups from L to R.
* Korey Hall is the FB over John Kuhn.

I called this on PF.com when we drafted Flynn. Damn, I wish I oculd bring up that old post.
I really think we got two good young back ups. Brohm needs some time, but he'll be good in a season or two. |

Collins is still a starter? I thought for sure Rouse would get the nod.
And Bush is 3rd string. Jeez, he should be backup waterboy. |

I think Collins should be starter (which he is btw), Rouse is a big-play man, Collins is more of a sure tackler and dependable guy, even though he gets burned in coverage sometimes. |

See, this is exactly why I was saying I was hoping we didn't get a Veteran QB in the offseason.
IF we did, Brohm would be #3 and we would have cut Flynn. Flynn would have never had a chance to prove himself. |

I don't know why everybody is so down on Collins. Yeah he's dropped a few int's, are there any other valid gripes against the guy? i can't think of one |

Rouse gets INTs, which could change the course of a game. Collins drops them. I think that's not a small gripe. It's a big one. The QB throws an INT right in your hands. You catch it. You do not drop it. The thing that pissed me off is it happened on more than one occasion. |

I just wanna say how impressed I am with Tramon's performance this preseason. The staff's been testing him all preseason, giving almost no safety help over the top, letting him prove his ability to defend teams' #1 WR on an island. And for an unheralded nobody, he's been putting up. When he makes mistakes out there, the coaches put him on his own again, just to see if he learns from it. And it looks to me like he has. |
