My name is Matt. I was born, raised, and still live in Houston. My grandfather grew up in Madison and my father in North Dakota, but the Packer tradition continues to get passed on regardless of birthplace.
I'm a member of the Cheddarhead Pack of Houston. We meet at a West Houston bar called Nick's for every game. The atmosphere and people are amazing. Each week the bar is packed with 150-200 Cheeseheads and, for some reason, two Steeler fans. They're good guys though. Included amongst the Cheeseheads are Jerry Kramer's kids and Donald Driver's mother and sisters. They look freakishly similar to Donald. I'll try to post some pics of the place within the next couple weeks.
If you're in the Houston area and need some Packer folk to watch the game with, we'd love to have you. There's a smaller group (20-30 people) that meets on the Northeast side as well. |
