I think its because neither makes an ass out of himself with touchdown dances and off the field antics. They are about one thing. being productive football players (which is the mantra in green bay). So i think their underrated status comes from not being on the front page due to something besides football. and in my opinion. I cant think of one WR that has been as consistent and productive over a long span than Donald Driver. |

I think our WR are perceived as under rated because most think that Brett made them, not them making themselves. If, that makes any sense. |

Of course our WR's can disprove that by all of them having big years this season. MAYBE then they will get the "attaboys" they deserve. I think they have a chip on their collective shoulders for not getting the recognition they deserve. |

Greg and DD are probably two of the more "popular guys" I guess.

I don't understand how the duo of Driver and Jennings can be underrated as much as they are.... The talking heads look at the stats and yardage that Favre had last year but don't realize a lot of those yards come under the category of yards after the catch. Driver and Jennings along with Martin, Jones and the rest caught a lot of short passes and made big plays out them as well. I know Favre connected on the deep ball as well but a lot of the plays were yards after the catch and I think that's a stat that gets seriously overlooked when talking about quarterbacks and their wide outs in this day an age. |

You mean in the recent past? Because in the past, two of the greatest WRs who ever played the game were on the Packers - Don Hutson (who may be the best WR ever) and James Lofton, who may have had Rice's records had he been on decent teams. Sterling Sharpe also goes up there, but because of his injury, we'll never know. We would have slaughtered the Broncos if Sharpe had never been injured and probably ended the 90s as Team of the 90s with 3 or 4 SB wins. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |
