Well almost every naysayer wanted Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson to answer those questions at some point, Wilde may have gotten a "your not coming back" pass for these questions, but I agree they handled them pretty well.

I found the Ryan comment from Ted semi funny.. "Not knocking Ryan, but Frost is better" type response.. yep not knocking him.

I hear you. This guy is no Greta.

The first question was kind of dumb, but after that I thought all the questions were fair. Excellent interview with both guys.

Thats EXACTLY what i meant!
If Greta would have done THIS interview, she would have asked Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy "Boxers, or briefs?" :compress:

WSJ: Do you guys know what you're doing?

MIKE McCARTHY: What kind of question is that?

Sometimes these people just make me sick. I can't wait for Mike McCarthy to snap one day and choke a bitch. [\quote]

Maybe he can start with you.

Or maybe himself....

Can anyone photoshop McCarthy as the "prettiest girl".

That would be funny. Or maybe just find a current picture of his daughter!

Jason Wilde is a madman. Great interview.

I love the fact that he's asking questions like the average fan would. He's obviously not afraid of making enemies.

I thought it was significant that McCarthy finally backed off from saying that he's going to emphasize the run. It's about time. These days, the NFL is mostly a passing league. Check out this article by Michael Lombardi. Scan down to his second point:

The thing is, they should have figured this out in the 80s. The Niners won 5 SBs, 4 in the 80s and 1 in the 90s, by passing. The lone exception for a dominant team that mostly ran were the Cows, but their passing game was pretty dang good too when it needed to be.

You need a QB that completes passes and doesn't turn the ball over.

uffda udfa (50m) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.
uffda udfa (55m) : Anyone ever used their dishwasher to make their Thanksgiving turkey?
uffda udfa (59m) : Favorite Ronnie Milsap song? Smokey Mountain Rain or Any Day Now?
uffda udfa (4h) : Favorite GM candidate... Wolf or Gutekunst?
uffda udfa (5h) : I'd rather sit them than play them too compromised.
uffda udfa (5h) : Yeah, Z. More pressure cooker talk and smoked turkeys.
Zero2Cool (5h) : If this were a regular-season game, Nelson, Adams and Allison probably would not play, MM says.
Smokey (6h) : Mason Crosby is ill, hope it's not the Flu.
Smokey (6h) : Great, can we move past that story and get back to the Atlanta game ?
Zero2Cool (6h) : Packers exec Eliot Wolf has withdrawn his name for 49ers' GM job, as @TomPelissero reported. He didn't feel it was the right time.

Zero2Cool (7h) : That's what we know.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Crosby, Mason K Illness
Smokey (7h) : Is He ill or not ?
Smokey (7h) : Raiderpride asked, "Anyone know what Crosby's illness is?"
Zero2Cool (7h) : Davante Adams expected to play- KFFL
Porforis (8h) : Alright, my opinion on Jordy has changed. If he's medically cleared to play, play him.
hardrocker950 (10h) : By Sunday we won't have any WRs
Zero2Cool (10h) : Geronimo hamstring, Janis quad. BEAUTIFUL.
Smokey (11h) : Mason Crosby, is his health OK ?
Smokey (11h) : Hello
FLORIDA PACKER88 (11h) : Davis, G-Mo, and Janis will need to step up, but all three did score last time we played ATL!
FLORIDA PACKER88 (11h) : Does Janis become a playoff hero second year in a row? Looks we're gonna have to find out either way regardless. Thank God for a healthy Cob
Smokey (11h) : Is Mason Crosby's health OK ?
Smokey (12h) : What's in your Coffee ?
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Sit Davante if he has a bad ankle. We remember 2015.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante is not going to practice until SAT at earliest.
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Davante and Jordy may be inactive at ATL.
Smokey (18-Jan) : ROFL !!
Cheesey (18-Jan) : The Packers SMOKED the COWBOYS!!!LOL!
