The large files, ie Videos will take some time for me to upload again. We WILL be back to full force that I can assure you. I am a data pack rat and I have everything stored on my desktop or laptop, if not both.

I'm not into all this hosting etc., but I want to thank you for all your work. I mean, you are putting in quite alot to keep this site running without any clear prophets but a good discussion. Keep up the good work, Z2C.

I really apologize for my mistake. It seems that this domain name
PackersHome.com is added as an external domain name inside your MS
package. Please visit this link instead for reference on how to transfer

Sweet..

#38 Posted : Friday, April 24, 2009 12:30:38 PM(UTC)
it really sucks they only gave me 24 hours to get everything off the server. They seem to forget that most ppl spend about 6 hrs sleeping 10 hours working and some of have kids to care for. there was no way in hell i could have downloaded nearly 6 GB's of crap all at once like that.

my 'full site' backup was the site, not the server. I do one every few months and do a db backup regularly.

Argh I just wanna slap them with a big fat rusty spoon in the rectum!!

Well as for those graphics.. call it housekeeping.. lol..

But as far as the host.. that is BS... first lesson in doing outsourcing work for a client.. always make a "oh-shit" backup yourself before starting.. to me, that was inexcusable of them.

I like the control I have over the data here at work.. no clowns to have to rely on... if I screw up I have no one to blame but myself.

that's exactly how i like it... i dont think im God or nothing, but i trust myself over anyone else with my work/efforts.

if it didnt cost so damn much id try to host the site on my own connection
