Here's an article by Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel where he ranks all 53 players on the Packers' roster:
http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=789601This reminds me of our "Who can we least afford to lose to injury?" thread from a few days ago, but it's just different enough to merit its own thread. McGinn put Chad Clifton at #2, which I totally understand. He is an underrated player. I forget about him myself sometimes. One surprise is that Al Harris is at #14. I would've ranked him a lot higher than that.

He could've done a lot better than throw out a bunch of preseason QB ratings. QB rating is the lazy man's statistic. My concern about Brohm is that I haven't seen him make any really good NFL plays yet. I hope he's making some in practice.

Forget what I just said, I like this better.
I heard DD can kick pretty well too.

Rayner?
I'm talking say he got hurt on the opening KO.
Who would be the kicker for the rest of the game?

Im suprised Grant wasn't up toward the top more. Than number 8. I would think he would be in the top 5, maybe even the top three

Agreed about the QB ratings, but Brohm looked like he didn't belong in there. Sure, it was his first preseason, but Flynn had much more poise (and it's Flynn's first preseason as well).
And Flynn's a tough kid. I saw him take a hit that would have made the average man practically hork on the spot, but Flynn took it in stride. I watched my younger brother once deliver a hit like that and the kid literally crawled over to the sideline and horked.
The coaches obviously agree since they put Flynn at #2. I just can't believe Flynn fell so far in the draft. What a nice find.
