[b] I know some of you are a little nervous with our new pivot, HECK I am too. But I believe it all starts at home and 1st game of the year to get our boys feeling good and having momentum on their side.

Defense likes it LOUD. Be Proud 2 Be Loud!!!

We have to set the mood and energy right from pre game, baby. Its time to get fired up this year once again.

Jaaaaaacksooooooooooon.. Jaaaaaaacksoooooooooon.. Jaaaaaacksooooooooooon.. chant his name all night...

Every 3rd down STAND UP, GET LOUD wave those towels. We wanna start this game on the right foot faithful.

G-FORCE .. FULL VOICE TONIGHT.

Can't wait. Let's Go Packers...

Yes I'm a Packerfan - I think I might have been at the game it was rolled out - either way I have a G-force towel on a wall in my basement....but yes, I think it's lame...very lame. I feel like I should be bringing out my light saber.

Corporate marketing at it's best. sleepy1 They "ran it up the flag pole to see if anyone would salute."

If I recall correctly management was a bit embarrassed a couple of years ago when the mystic of playing at Lambeau was killed by the poor teams. Since there was very little to cheer about some of the fans just sat around and waited for something to cheer about. It didn't come very often.

Management decided to rally the fans around their "G Force" slogan in hopes that the fans would get back into the game. I guess it never occurred to them if they put the product out on the field the fans in the stands would respond as well.

That doesn't even work in high school. Wink

Besides, after Allen sacks Rodgers on the opening drive (resulting in a fumble) and AD breaks off a 69 yard run for a TD in the ensuing Vikings drive, I think the crowd will have settled down. Wink

Just joking around. I actually hope the crowd is into it. It doesn't affect the visiting team too much in an open air stadium, and it is a lot more fun to watch a game with the crowd in involved than it is to watch one where the crowd is half asleep. minnypacker is right though. G-Force sounds kinda lame.
"There's the snap, Rodgers with a quick drop - in trouble! AND SACKED BY ALLEN! The ball is lose, the ball is lose, and recovered by Kevin Williams! And that's the ball game! Childress and the Vikings FINALLY beat the Packers!"

Just ask any player who has played in Arrowhead, Qwest Field or Lambeau and see how loud the games were...

I've been to all three. And Lambeau is nowhere near the level of Qwest or Arrowhead. In fact, Arrowhead is the only open air stadium that I have been that rivals some of the best enclosed stadiums.

EDIT: Although I think the game day experience from a fan point of view was probably the best at lambeau. I haven't been there since the renovations... will have to check it out sometime.
