Obviously we never got to use it to it's fullest because James Jones wasn't available. But now likely what I like to call "The Wide 5" will be making it's debut this Sunday, where we'll likely line up Jennings-Driver-Jones-Martin-Nelson.
I know we all mostly call it "The Fab 5" Lets all agree on a nickname for our unique formation that exploited any defense last year. |

Honestly, I thought the Big Five lost its effectiveness last year once opposing defenses were prepared for it. They just played tight man-to-man coverage on each receiver and rushed six guys against our five linemen. It seemed like the best we could get out of it was a short gain and the QB usually took a hit. |

MM has a formation with QB in shotgun with a TE just behind the OL and a RB in the backfield..i think hes called it "FALCON"..
The 5WR set is called "Big5" if i remember correctly.
MM also has a name for the Fullhouse style formation with 2 FB's and a RB in the backfield, think its called "Rhino" or something. Its likely tho that these change periodically... |
