That's what I'd do if I were Mike McCarthy . That would be cool. I hope Lumpy is active for the game Sunday. With Grant being sore, I'd kind of like to see them take it easy with him. If we get a good lead, let Lumpy take over. |

I think we will kill them. Packers go to jail for 1st degree murder. Mike McCarthy plans it all week, and then our 45-man group of hitmans will finish the job. Ford Field will be left in a bloody mess. |

Rodgers will be fine in the dome. Favre's struggles in domes were a bit overblown, I always thought. Many of those dome losses were against the Vikings when the Vikings played everybody tough at home. The Lions used to be tough to beat at home as well. And of course Favre won a Super Bowl in a dome.
I was unimpressed with the Lions' off-season. They just don't seem to know what they are doing. Watch out for Calvin Johnson, though. That guy is a beast. Roy Williams is very good, too. If the Packers rush the passer as well as they did on Monday night, they will be fine. But if they give Kitna time, the Lions could put a lot of points on the board. |

Key matchup in this game will be our pass D vs. their receivers. I'm not really concerned about anything else. |

I'm hoping to see Lumpkin in there too. |

I see Grant having a monster game. He is a broken play running back, and gets his yards in bunches. I think that he could match Michael Turner's output. Hopefully our defensive blitzing scheme will continue to be effective at creating pressure. |

Id really like to see Lumpkin get some snaps in this game and Jordy to get some balls thrown his way. If Matty Flynn got some snaps too thatd rock, i doubt A-Rod will be as precious as Brett was about staying in for the 4th quarter when the Pack is up by 20 or so.. |

I see this as a must win game. If we want playoffs/division this is a team we have to beat, especially with tough teams coming ahead. Offensively we can probably be pretty balance because they can't stop the run nor the pass. They'll give receivers a lot more room after the catch on slants and curls then the DB's of the Vikings. Thye will NOT apply as much pressure on Rodgers, and they really can't stop the run. This should be a blow out as long as our D can force some 3 and outs and keep them from having long drives. |

I'm jumping on the Lumpkin bandwagon ("jumping on the Lumpkin" somehow sounds obscene). I think the coaches will want to limit Grant and his sore hammy on that artificial turf in the dome. And what concerns me about Jackson is that he doesn't seem to have much power. Ahman Green was a small guy like him, but Ahman was very powerful. I think Lumpkin may be able to fill that void for the Packer offense--maybe as early as this game. |
