Green Bay - The last time the Green Bay Packers tried to defend a 6-foot-5 receiver, it didn't exactly go well.
Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson presents a tall challenge to Packers defensive backs.
New York Giants stalwart Plaxico Burress was nearly unstoppable in Januarys NFC Championship Game with an 11 catch, 154-yard performance that featured seven catches that converted first downs.
Burress had Packers Pro Bowl cornerback Al Harris turned, twisted and frustrated to the point coaches finally gave him some safety help over the top in the second half.
But come Sunday, when the Packers encounter Detroit Lions star receiver Calvin Johnson, dont expect Green Bay to do anything radical. In fact, they anticipate having little trouble with Johnson or Roy Williams, his 6-3 running mate.
(Johnsons) a big guy but hes not real quick off the line so getting your hands on him is a must, said cornerback Jarrett Bush, who tangled with Johnson most often in the two meetings between the teams last year. Read More....

Well, it's in the dome. So no bad weather to deal with. Plus i think our D will pressure their QB, which should also help alot.

Bingo. Kitna can't throw when he's 2 feet into the ground with Cullen Jenkins on top of him.

Kampman absolutely abused Kitna last year.

I'm calling 5 sacks in this game(the team).

This is where Kampy takes the NFL lead in sacks. You got a 6'5" WR and a 6'3" guy on the other side? Fine. Let's see how well you can pass to him when you're on your back.

The Packers should be able to destroy the Lions on Sunday. Look what Atlanta did against them. I expect Grant to have a big day rushing, and Kitna to be under pressure every down.

Pressure will definitely be the key for the Packers, especially if Woodson doesn't play.

I'm thinking Woodson will play. Really McCarthy didn't seem THAT worried. I played baseball with a broken the next day. I know it's not football, but tape it up and go.

Am I the only one here who doesn't like it that our backup CB's are giving the opposing team a bunch of bulletin board material for next week's game?
Hey, Bush and Williams: Shut your mouths and play ball!

If we get pressure on Kitna(or whoever is starting) like we did on Jackson, we should have 2-3 sacks. None of their QB's are nearly as elusive as T Jack.

The Lions are a curious bunch. I remember last season... one week they would win huge then the next week they would loose huge. They have a lot of talent on that team but they just can't seam to be consistent. Hopefully this week they will loose huge.

That is the norm for the Lions though, and part of the reason why they still have any fans left. Unfortunately for those fans, the Lions always seem to find a new way to break their hearts in the last two minutes of any game. I've never seen a team find so many different ways to lose a game in the last two minutes...ever. But just when you think it's safe to bet against them, they will try to surprise you.

NFL.com says Woodson is listed as questionable. Maybe I'm not so sure about our victory once I picture Tramon defending Calvin...
Edit: Sorry, I was wrong, they listed him as probable.
