I'm starting to few bad for Lions fans. I wasn't at first but it's starting to get ridiculous. It's one thing if you lose over and over with different front office every 3 years but they've had the same guy since 01 and it hasn't worked yet.

Then again if they beat us Sunday I'll be despise them once again.

Let's not forget it wasn't exactly easy being a kid who loved the Packers in the 70s and 80s. I feel for them because I was in their shoes. It seemed like we'd never get better.

I remember those days Zombie........I got teased by the other kids for being a Packer fan. (As well as for other reasons!)LOLOLOL!!!

I have lived in six states, but over my near 40 years, if you add 'em up, almost 30 of them were spent in California and of those, probably 25 in the San Francisco area. Of those years, the Niners seemed to win a Super Bowl every other year.

I still proudly wore my Packers jerseys even though we were horrible through those years and got a lot of flack. The pathetic thing about it is when BF came along and started taking the Niners over his knee and giving them spankings, those same Niner fans hid in the closet. Not joking. These fans are pathetic. Fair weather like you can't believe.

Granted there are some hard-core Niner fans out here who still root for them through whatever. I have utmost respect for them. But I'm just saying they're a minority of Niner fans.

I love being a Packers fan and living 20 minutes south of Detroit. Life doesn't get any better for me here

Wouldn't life get better if you lived FORTY minutes from Detroit?

Not during the two weeks of the season when the Packers play the Lions. For this week and for the week of the final game, I get to torture everybody around me on how bad the Packers are going to kick tush.

Any time other than those two weeks, its definately too close.

I went back to the Lions site to see whats being said......so far, this is one of my favorites by one of their members:

"The the turning point in the game came right after we scored to take the lead. My wife leans over and says "I can't wait to see how they f**k this up!".
LOLOLOL!!!! :thumbright:
I'm having a BLAST reading their stuff!

It's hard to say I feel sorry for any of our divisional opponents, but the closest I can come is the Lions. They have a guy running their team who seriously seems like his goal is to see if he can make a team entirely out of 1st Round WRs, while knowing absolutely nothing about football. No one deserves what that guy has done to that team.

I just spent the last half hour reading their game thread.......when the Lions took the lead, some were saying how they were hopeful, and there were some that were saying "Don't get you hopes up, they will F it up" And "Kitna will throw a pick now". Then of course Kitna did, and i hate to say it, but i was laughing reading the posts. I DO feel sorry for them......but i couldn't help but laugh, cause they CALLED what would happen before it happened! These guys have seen it over and over and over. They HATE Kitna and Millen.
It was funny and sad at the same time.
