I hand wrote him a letter about a month ago. It's the first (and probably last) fan letter I have ever sent. I'll probably get the content wrong as far as what I wrote, but here goes:
Aaron:
52 year old lifelong Packer fan here. Just a quick note to thank you for your class and dignity during what must be challenging times. I want to share something with you. I have a friend, about the same age as me, who is a life-long Dallas Cowboy fan. We were bellied up to a bar here in Pennsylvania, discussing Brett, TT, Mike McCarthy etc. During this conversation my friend had one comment about you that was short and sweet. He said, "Aaron Rodgers scared the shit out of me." Whatever happens in the next few weeks, I just want you to know, at least from my perspective, that is good enough for me so far! |
