You got your wish two fold yesterday.

When the pass was intercepted out in the flat and there was no one between Woodson and the end zone, it made sense to try and run it back. Plus he was already heading in the right direction.

Collins int was in the middle of the field but there were only linemen between him and the goal line and he just out ran them b/c they made no effort at all to try and stop him.

I was all for the guys trying to run them back. And I thought about how happy you would be.

Bigby shouldn't have ran at all because a fumble and return would have cost us the game, I believe.

When you jump a route and have momentum and a two score lead I think you try and take it to the house.

I know WHAT you wanted PG. I was just trying to stay above the board for a change. Not always easy to do.

Thanks.

The thing is, it's always going on in the back of a defender's mind. For one, adrenaline takes over and you're pretty much playing like a man possessed. The brain shuts off and all you can think of is getting in the end zone. Keep in mind that half the offensive players are sloppy tacklers so you imagine you should be able to break one or two of them. If your boys can get a good block or two, makes it even easier.

Now, Woody can actually break tackles. The guy's good at it. Collins had a free shot. Woody did too, but I'm just saying that if he had to, he can.

I love seeing our defenders take it to the house. Love it. It's the ultimate slap in the face. Here they are trying to take the lead and it blows up in their face. Morale immediately drops a few notches.

So yeah, thanks for thinking of me. I was really nervous before that first one. I hate close games.
