Yahoo Salary Cap League: 100m to spend each week. Brady, Finley, Williams & Tynes were dirt cheap based on last years numbers. Sorry about Minn. but vs Cleveland in wk one come on. Maybe going to change DEF to my Pack vs DBears in wk one but this is how it stands now.
QB: Tom Brady RB: Adrian Peterson RB: MJD WR: Randy Moss WR: Calvin Johnson WR: Roy Williams TE: Je. Finley K: L. Tynes DEF: Minnesota  |

Not too bad an idea for a thread, but it should be in the sub-section 'Fantasy Football'. You can find it just a bit to the north of this post. I'm sure that a mod will move it soon enough, but just for future postst etc.
Never been in a salary cap league, but that still looks like an amazing team. Regardless of salary ca. Don't you have to do a draft or something? Since you ended up with 3 potential top 6 picks in Peterson, MJD and Brady. |

Yeah I'm new here and still trying to feel my way around, sorry about the misplacement. No there is no draft at all just have 100m to spend each week and prices fluctuate every week base on player performance. Its easy to start off with a strong team but it gets more difficult as the season progresses. |

Complete newbie when it comes to FF, it looks a lot of fun. This is my first ever team and the auto draft date got moved forward so I didnt get a chance to change my draft order. Here is what it gave me (plus a couple of waiver wire pick ups of my own).
Starters:
QB Donovan McNabb WR Roddy White WR Vincent Jackson WR Torry Holt/Brandon Marshall TE J.Finley RB LT RB Brandon Jacobs D Ravens K Elam
It's a 10 team league, I'm not all that thrilled with it to be honest. Need to figure out what to do with Marshall. I'm assuming Holt would be a better bet right now. |

I do a fantasy league with the guys from work, and my fiance'. 12 team league with automated draft.
QB. Rodgers and Eli. RB. Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, LeShawn McCoy and for some reason, Sutton. WR. Santonio Holmes, TJ Hushmenzadah, Roddy White and Ted Ginn, Jr. TE. Finley and Visanthe Shiancoe. K. Garret Hartley?! DST. Packers
I'm not all that happy with it, minus A-Rod, Finley and the Pack's DST. Oh well. ::shrug:: |

There's a 4 game suspension hanging over your kicker's head. That's never good, lol.
I have two teams myself. Both are in a 12 man league on NFL.com.
Amsterdam Admirals (2)
QB: Aaron Rodgers (Matt Hasselbeck) RB: DeAngelo Williams, Brandon Jacobs (Jamal Lewis) WR: Braylon Edwards, Lee Evans, Steve Smith (Kevin Walter) TE: Dallas Clark (Jermichael Finley) K: Neil Rackers D/ST: Eagles (Packers).
Amsterdam Cavaliers
QB: Philip Rivers (Matt Hasselbeck) RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Kevin Smith (Marshawn Lynch, Ricky Williams) WR: Jerricho Cotchery, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White (Kevin Walter) TE: Jermichael Finley (Brandon Pettigrew) K: Rob Bironas D/ST: Packers
Obviously, I'm a lot happier with my NFL.com Amsterdam Admirals than the Cavaliers. Wonder how both will turn out. |

I have a crappy team in this league
QB) Kurt Warner (Matt Ryan) WR) Boldin and Moss ( Driver and Harvin) RB) Ray Rice and AP ( Benson McFadden) TE) Finley (vernon Davis) W/R/T) Desean Jackson and Felix Jones K) Nick Folk Defense) Pittsburgh
I hope my team can compete
Its a 10 team League and i have alot of great Gms in the league that love Ted Thompson and follow his ways lol.
BTW thats the team i have on the Packershome Yahoo league lol
ok opinion about a trade offer im trying to make it pretty fair
i give DD and Felix Jones for DeAngelo Williams and Hakeem Nicks |
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be :) |

I just drafted this team today live with some friends from back home. It's a 13 team league, standard ESPN position slots.
Starters QB Phillip Rivers RB Michael Turner RB Ryan Grant RB/WR Percy Harvin WR Chad Ochocinco WR Desean Jackson TE Brandon Pettigrew D/ST Pittsburgh Steelers K Neil Rackers
Bench QB Carson Palmer RB Glen Coffee RB Jerious Norwood RB James Davis WR Devin Hester WR Mike Sims-Walker D/ST San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis
Notes: (1) I felt like TE was the deepest position in this years draft, and since I got outdrafted for the top 5 guys I didn't pick mine until the very end (2) I got my starting lineup set and then attempted to fill my bench with players I felt had tremendous upside if they panned out (3) I also grabbed Norwood because I'm a bit uncomfortable with how many carries Turner making him a risk for injury so I decided to protect my number one pick by grabbing his backup |

Had the #4 pick overall, really wish I had taken Brees or Brady, esp w/ QBs getting 6 pts per TD pass, but here it be....
-Round in parentheses, pts for return yds, hence the Leon Washington pick.
QB Donavan McNabb, PHI (6) WR Randy Moss, NE (2) WR Calvin Johnson, DET (3) WR Donald Driver, GB (10) RB DeAngelo Williams, CAR (1) RB Ryan Grant, GB (4) TE Visanthe Shiancoe, MIN (13) WR/RB Ray Rice, BAL (15) WR/RB Leon Washington, NYJ (17) K Hanson, DET (19) DST Eagles (9) DST Chargers (14) BN Brandon Marshall, DEN WR (5) BN Darren McFadden, OAK RB (7) BN Derrick Ward, TB RB (8) BN Felix Jones, DAL RB (11) BN Rashard Mendenhall, PIT RB (12) BN Joe Flacco, BAL QB (16) BN Jermichael Finley, GB TE (18) |
Thanks to Pack93z for the sig! |
