I came in here last year and have enjoyed every single visit. There is always valuable information around about the Packers and the NFL and I value a lot of people's opinions in here about the team.

I believe since I have joined this forum, I have become even a bigger Packers fan (if thats possible). I try to log on everyday and if I don't the next time I do I just spend more time on this site...haha.

I try to post as much as possible but I also hold back a lot because I don't feel I have as much knowledge about the team than some on here do. So I learn from the posters in this forum.

Great people, great conversations and always great and most of the time respectable debates.

And as someone said above, the streaming is an amazing thing. Living in Chicago, I am stuck watching the Bears. Nothing beats the streaming.

Thanks Z2C and all who help with this site!

Kampy!
Don't be shy dude. If we don't like your post what is the worst that can happen to you? We ain't sending Trom by to thump you.
I am not an expert on GB, zone blocking, 3-4 defense or on how Aaron Rodgers is now dating. As Bill Murray said in Meatballs, "It just doesn't matter".

So jump in there and give us your opinion.

By the way, zone blocking stinks. it is a fad and will die out int he NFL in 4 years.

Packer fans are the best people on the planet. They congregate here. So I've lurked for a year and have been forced into the spotlight because I live in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) don't want to cut my Douglas Firs so I can get direct TV, and our cable company sucks! I actually found the site searching Google! I used to frequent TimesFour but drifted away after a few years - busy life!

Wpr, I've started to realize that, and I'm gradually making the differentiation. I'm just (fortunately or unfortunately) a product of the Favre era, so it took me a long time to wake up to that fact. But thanks for the cold dash of reality. People like you and dfosterf keep me in line. :)

Ahem! I resemble that remark! I was a youngster, but I was there, cheered & remember!!! (Unless you're talking Curly era! Although I do remember Don Hutson Chevrolet! LoL!) My Lombardi era autographed photos of Fuzzy, Jerry, Donny, Bart & Ray above my desk at work always get comments. Like, "Who the heck are those guys?" Then the history lesson begins . . .

The 1st Glory was was under Curly Lambeau
2nd Vince Lombardi
3rd and most recent under the guidance on GM Ron Wolf and for the most part HC Mike Holmgren.

I found this place what I believe is a little over a year ago in my never ending quest to see packer games every week. Live in MN so its rare for me to see them on tv, luckily my search landed me here and what i found to be some great reading in the forums. I spent most of my time on the internet reading updates from the packers via greenbaypressgazette and jsonline. haven't done too much posting on the subject but i think i'll start up here pretty quick.

I was looking for a video fix, after moving out the local television market...

Gotta love this place!

Zero2Cool (58m) : from Rob Reischel @robreischel
Zero2Cool (58m) : Rodgers has played in 2 NFC Championship games. QB ratings were 56.7 and 55.9. That's won't cut it Sunday
Porforis (1h) : Have to fill the 24/7 news cycle with something.
Smokey (1h) : True, Zero
Zero2Cool (1h) : Rodgers didn't draw it up, it was selected from options. Duh.
uffda udfa (3h) : Zeke Elliott tired of domestic violence investigation. NFL moving forward now.
Smokey (9h) : Did u fire up the crock pot ?
Smokey (9h) : Jolly good show ole chap ! LOL

Cheesey (9h) : Hey smiley! Just saw your shout out! How bout them Packers!
Smokey (9h) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (12h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (12h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (12h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (12h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (13h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (13h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (14h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (15h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (17h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (17h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (22h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (22h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (16-Jan) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (16-Jan) : Salt mine. Love it.
TheKanataThrilla (16-Jan) : The refs kept that game close. We should have blown them out early.
DarkaneRules (16-Jan) : Hyde and Gunter are special and I'm hopeful D Ran gets back to where he can be
mi_keys (16-Jan) : That whole forum is a salt mine. It's beautiful.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Burnett's back up, Kentrell Brice lead team in tackles.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Hilarious reading below. I like Carter. Only guy who gets it.
