The picks are predicated on the username already. It takes the global variable from the website. If you were to submit picks, it'd register as YOUR username :)

perfect, can u submit the picks, are the picks being stored in a db table, then retrieved from the db and displayed on a page based on memberid or username?

add the code i gave you to your file

change
<input name='rdoGame01' type='radio' value='Titans' />Tenneesee Titans
<input name='rdoGame01' type='radio' value='Steelers'/>Pittsburgh

with...................................................................................................

<?php
<input type="radio" name="rdoGame01" value="1" class="textbox"<?if($rdoGame01=="1"){echo " checked ";}?>>Tenneesee Titans

<input type="radio" name="rdoGame01" value="0" class="textbox"<?if($rdoGame01=="0"){echo " checked ";}?>> Steelers
?>

Yes sir. I'm using the username from the main website's db and using a separate db to store the picks. The picks are also retrieved from that location based on the username.

So if I were to submit my picks logged in as SlickVision and then next week as Zero2Cool, I'd be fux0red. :)

now there is no code in that file u sent to connect to db or retrieve data from db and display on form.

that is not a dynamic database driven form

Okay, how does it get checked? Is that code have some hidden magic I don't see in the code or does it need to be validated elsewhere? In short, how does it validate? lol

here is validation

function check_pick() {
//if (Auth::isAdmin())

//return true;
this chunck of code allows admin to
bypass validation remove the slashes to make it so admin would have to check all boxes

$is_valid = true;
if($this->rdoGame01=="" or $this->rdoGame02=="" ){
$is_valid=false;
$this->add_error('Make a selection!');
}
return $is_valid;

}

this validates the first two radio buttons

in other words....
if rdoGame1 is equal to nothing or =="" then display this error

make a selection

if rdoGameo1 == true then submit

you would have to add 16 variables to this function

I don't know if I have a case of the stupids or what, but that doesn't make much sense. I'm guessing the function will return a value of false if not all games are selected?

yes and spit that error. but that is just code for two buttons, you need to add code for all 16

I'll play around with it a little bit and see what happens.

I didn't think it was wise to put the database connection information in every thread so I have it in a separate file and am using a function to call it.

Smokey (2h) : Did u fire up the crock pot ?
Smokey (2h) : Jolly good show ole chap ! LOL
Cheesey (2h) : Smokey! Darn spell check! LOL!
Cheesey (2h) : Hey smiley! Just saw your shout out! How bout them Packers!
Smokey (2h) : Hello Cheesey !
GoPack1984 (5h) : I hope not. Please be something like 41-28 Packers.
uffda udfa (6h) : I agree with Chmura. This looks like a double 40 burger.
uffda udfa (6h) : The hug on the sidelines?
uffda udfa (6h) : What seemed so emotional?
Zero2Cool (6h) : No, but I am curious why that seemed so emotional. I might be reading into it too much.
uffda udfa (6h) : Anyone ever get confused looking at Alex Van Pelt thinking it's MM?
uffda udfa (8h) : I hope they aren't going to dial it down believing in destiny .
Zero2Cool (8h) : Jason Wilde: Packers "feel like a team of destiny"
uffda udfa (10h) : They'll need all the Julio Joneses they can get.
Zero2Cool (11h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (15h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (16h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (17h) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT
Zero2Cool (17h) : Packers inactive list when they lost 33-32 to the Falcons week 8.
Zero2Cool (18h) : There is no emphasis, it's just a little bit of info. Take it or leave it. No harm.
Smokey (18h) : Zero, I believe that you and some others place too much emphasis upon data. no harm intended.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : Salt mine. Love it.
TheKanataThrilla (18h) : The refs kept that game close. We should have blown them out early.
DarkaneRules (19h) : Hyde and Gunter are special and I'm hopeful D Ran gets back to where he can be
mi_keys (19h) : That whole forum is a salt mine. It's beautiful.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Burnett's back up, Kentrell Brice lead team in tackles.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Hilarious reading below. I like Carter. Only guy who gets it.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : http://boards.dallascowboys.com/topic/71647-so-we-are-supposed-to-believe/#entry3978081
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : Great news.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Jordy has "legitimate hope" to play, per @RobDemovsky.
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Packers had one call on defense if called, no issue, wans't called. I didn't watch OL so dunno. I watched WR's
Zero2Cool (16-Jan) : Dallas OL had some holds weren't called and 2 defensive holds, not called.
uffda udfa (16-Jan) : I think the Pi vs just a holding call is a legit complaint. Terrible call.
GoPack1984 (16-Jan) : Dallas can't complain about the officials. They got away with so many defensive holding calls.
