Yes sir I do. I usually prefer to just read what others write and keep to myself, but it is just so damn slow at work that I have and will be continuing to post more often.

WTF... why are these assclowns picking our Packers? We weren't good enough for them when Favre was traded. Why are we suddenly their freaking darlings!!!

All is not lost. I just found a writer who picked the Cowboys: Adam Duerson of Sports Illustrated:

His pick is Cowboys 45 Packers 30. He does make a statement that I found to be pretty weird, though:

"Statistically, Rodgers has outperformed Favre in '08. Dominated, really, if you've watched all four of their combined games. I'll let the stats speak: In two games, Rodgers has four scores, zero interceptions, a 117.8 passer rating and he's only been sacked once. Compare that against Favre's three, one, 104.1 and five. Close enough, I guess, but is there honestly a Packers fan out there who would switch back?"

ANSWER: Um, yes. There are still quite a lot of them, actually. And Rodgers has not "dominated" Favre statistically. I'm a big Rodgers fan, but why exaggerate?

Kornheiser had a couple others during that first Monday night game: He said that Adrian Peterson gained "a million yards" last season and that there are "about 5,000 pounds of Williams" in the middle of the Vikings D-line.

The problem is why the hell would ANYONE trade a 38 year old aging QB for a 24 year old up and comer. It may help a bit for now but that would be a rather bone headed move for the future of a franchise. Why can't people get this through your head. You don't build teams around 38 year old QB's. We built around Favre in 1993 just like any organization SHOULD.

And I loved some comments "Well we wont know how this decision looks until 4 years" How the hell is that??? Favre wont even be playing by then and THAT is the point.

Off Topic but the 95 championship game against the cowboys is on right now and Hochuli is the ref. Looks like the before and after steroids pictures you see of Barry Bonds!

Back to Florio.


1) The pick was not that enthusiastic. Watch the final bit of video.

2) There was hesitation when making the decision and a reluctant uttering of "Packers".

This is a huge game. It means a lot in many Tie Breakers. Conference games, common games, Strength of Victory, Strength of Schedule.

Right now if you go through the tie breakers the Packers are $2 in the Conference and the Cowboys are a wild card team behind the Giants.


Weird Theory:
A lot of New York media types want the Packers to beat the Giants' big rival.

I was at that game........sure was a LONG plane ride home.

I don't care for Florio too much. I like his opinions because they are usually different and unread previously. I've always liked differencing opinions.
