Not so good news...
I liked Millen, at least as the Lions GM. ::razz:

Fans seem not to be that sure about the Lions next future, but are happy about the move.

The Matt Millen era is over in Detroit.

The embattled Lions team president and chief executive officer is leaving the position, his wife told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

FOXSports.com first reported Wednesday that Millen had been removed from his position. It was unclear whether he had been fired or had resigned, according to the report.

The move comes two days after Bill Ford Jr., the son of team owner William Clay Ford, publicly said he would have fired Millen if he had the authority to do so.

The Lions are 31-84 under Millen. But until this point, the Lions have resisted widespread demands from fans seeking Millen's ouster.

According to the report, Millen had informed a number of employees about the change on Wednesday morning and had large packing boxes in his office.

I think we all agree that this was long over due.

Aww......darn it.
I was hoping they would keep him for another 20 years or so. That would guarentee us some free wins!

Combined the threads and renamed it so that we don't have an new thread added.

Maybe the Vikes will hire Millen to join their triangle of authority.. or whatever the heck they coined it.

Well considering he should have been canned years ago.. does it really matter?

As long as he keeps his twinkle toes out of Green Bay.. and the Lions don't decide to hire a competent GM.. it is just semantics isn't it.

uffda udfa (3h) : MM is such a creature of habit that this is going to upset his apple cart.
uffda udfa (3h) : Waited 2 hours than bused 125 miles to Milwaukee.
uffda udfa (3h) : Fog forces Packers to alter flight to Atlanta.
uffda udfa (3h) : Hoping Max McCaffery is the next Adam Thielen and right soon.
uffda udfa (3h) : Everyone knew Tate got away with OPI and even he said so.
uffda udfa (3h) : http://www.packershome.com/forum/posts/m218900-UN-Fucking-Believable#post218900
uffda udfa (4h) : Golden Tate pushed off big time in Seattle. I said it then.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Max McCaffrey Added to Roster, J.C. Tretter Subtracted
Zero2Cool (4h) : Read what I said about Hail Mary plays and referees letting players play. Got it? Good.
Zero2Cool (4h) : I absolutely would not. Don't dare presume to speak for me. WTF.
uffda udfa (4h) : Had it been other way around I would've been screaming and so would u.
uffda udfa (4h) : It's just true. I try hard to see it and tell it like it is. Was OPI.
Zero2Cool (7h) : which is of course ok, i just personally see it as weird.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Just odd that a Packers fan points out when Packers perceived to get away with something, yet ignore opponent. Weird.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Packers added RB Christine Michael (back) to the injury report as questionable
uffda udfa (8h) : Not diminishing anything. He got away with OPI. Didn't notice before. Was in airport.
Zero2Cool (10h) : Bahahahahahahha GO PACK GO!!!!
Zero2Cool (10h) : when you're buying your Super Bowl LI Champion gear, be critical of that too!
Zero2Cool (10h) : keep trying to diminish what the Packers have done and ...
Zero2Cool (10h) : one... that's just how it goes. They let the players play. But go ahead
Zero2Cool (10h) : Everyone knows on the hail mary type passes, those little shoves won't be called. Think replacement refs 2012. So, no did not get away with
Dulak (10h) : ya I think they mentioned that U U ... but you see this alot - even in the dallas game they pushed off at least 1 time (they as in dallas)
uffda udfa (16h) : Just rewatched Cobbs hail mary catch in slo mo...he should've been flagged for OPI. Got away with one.
uffda udfa (19h) : Nope. I like Gus.
beast (19h) : Did you want Anthony Lynn as HC? Cushion Bradley was going to follow Lynn where ever.
uffda udfa (20h) : Gus Bradley is new DC in SD/LA. I would've loved to had him here in Green Bay.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : It's just fine.
musccy (21-Jan) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
