Early in the 2008 offseason, Bengals receiver Chad Johnson embarked on an attempt to be traded to any other NFL team (and also the Raiders). He made it clear that he wants out of Cincinnati, and then he later made it clear that he never wanted to leave.

With the Bengals mired in an 0-4 funk and facing one of the best teams in the league at Dallas on Sunday, Johnson seems to be renewing his effort to leave Ohio.

I tried, Johnson said during a Wednesday conference call with reporters. I talked to 81 almost every day, man. I love 81. We talk all the time. That wouldve been a circus.

Let me tell you, I dont mean to be funny . . . . Im not tried to be rude or piss anybody off, but if I was in Dallas, they would have to change all of our damn games to pay-per-view because you need to pay to see that [bleep]. Im serious. Im so serious. They would have to put all the games on pay-per-view. Because you cant just watch a show like that for free; 81 and 85? Come on, now. Please.

And Johnson then made it pretty clear that hes still interested in making it happen.

Tell Jerry Jones I said hello, and give me a call some time, Johnson said at the end of the conference call.

The Bengals reportedly told Johnson once he re-embraced the team that, if he behaves for all of the 2008 season, they might look into giving him a new deal next year. Its pretty safe to say that his new deal is now in jeopardy.

There was a time I liked Chad Johnson and actually felt he was okay. I think that was when he was talking about his 'list' which had Al Harris on it and he siad Harris was one of the two top CB in the game.

He's went so downhill since... its a shame.

Hmm Chad Jackson Zero?

I don't know though. For a receiver of his caliber and a team that was definitely going downhill...he deserves a new team. However, with his attitude, if he does get traded he should catapulted to the new city as a mode of transportation.

CJ unhappy? :crybaby:

What are the odds of me being able to put almost identical in 2 threads?

With TO and CJ in the NFL I'd say pretty good.

If Millen was still there I'm sure they would take another receiver.

Zero2Cool (3h) : Chmura: "I'll tell you this: Atlanta's going to score 40 points. They are. The #Packers are going to have to score 41."
Zero2Cool (8h) : Damn-Falcons coach Dan Quinn tells reporters that WR Julio Jones (foot) will be limited this week but will be “ready to rock” on Sunday.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Packers defense has a red zone INT in each of the last 3 games... Hyde with two of them. (One being the clutch 4thQ INT vs DET in Week 17)
Zero2Cool (9h) : Randall Cobb, Damarious Randall, Quentin Rollins, James Starks, Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery & Jared Cook. OUT

Zero2Cool (11h) : It’s the 1st time since 1970 all 4 conference championship teams finished the regular season on winning streaks of 4+ games
TheKanataThrilla (11h) : Salt mine. Love it.

Zero2Cool (21h) : Jordy has "legitimate hope" to play, per @RobDemovsky.
Zero2Cool (21h) : Packers had one call on defense if called, no issue, wans't called. I didn't watch OL so dunno. I watched WR's
Zero2Cool (21h) : Dallas OL had some holds weren't called and 2 defensive holds, not called.
uffda udfa (21h) : I think the Pi vs just a holding call is a legit complaint. Terrible call.
GoPack1984 (21h) : Dallas can't complain about the officials. They got away with so many defensive holding calls.
uffda udfa (22h) : Dallas radio postgame: Dallas wins 7 out of 10 times.

uffda udfa (22h) : I don't believe Dallas is better than us. When Aaron is on we're the best.
beast (22h) : The huddle penalty was an odd one. Without Burnett and Nelson.
uffda udfa (22h) : Cowboys radio team initially called Crosby GW NO GOOD. Lol.
DarkaneRules (23h) : we beat an arguably better team at their place without morgan burnett. still can't believe it
uffda udfa (23h) : Re emphasized we aren't the better team. Sour grapes are sweet to me.
