One thing I did notice...and correct me if I am wrong, but were there ZERO holding penalties called?

I do remember one holding call on us. I can't remember who it was on, but I do remember that I didn't agree with the call.

--edit--

Wow I just realized how many times I said "remember" in 2 sentences there.

If you're thinking of the one by Donald Lee (that's the only one I remember), it was a very easy call for the refs. Got out of his stance late and had to hook the guy to keep him from blowing up Starks in the backfield.

That may be the one, but I might have been pretty fired up because of the terrible facemask call on Crabtree, therefore I disagreed with everything the refs called against the Packers at the time.

I thought Swain was a catch, but that's probably only because Jennings recovered. If the Steelers had recovered, I'd have been screaming no football move therfore no catch.

I just gave you an applaud point for a very rare demonstration of honesty by a fan.

It's the truth! Said pretty much the same thing to my wife during the game last night.

yeah I have stayed pout of the discussion in the past because I felt the same way.

as far as Collins celebration, I wish players would just toss the ball to the ref and head over to the bench. I don't need to see any chest pounding or worm dancing to be excited that we just scored 6 points.

Williams' penalty. I know it is allowed but if the NFL was going to add a new rule I wish it was that the kicking team can not grab or shove or in any way force a return team player onto the ball. That just seems wrong. Twice in the playoffs that has come back to bite GB in the butt. Williams' penalty and a fumble when Bigby? was shoved onto the ball. If anything should be considered unsportsmanlike conduct that should be. (I am a little uncertain where I would draw the line. I can see how a return player who is blocking the cover team player and hits the ball could cause the ball to be live but not someone who is just standing there out of the way and they grab him and drag him over to the ball.)

Personally I had no issue with Williams in his reaction.. although next time just shove him back verse taking a swing.

Take note of the number and make sure to pop him on the next special teams play.

One of the most basic things a football player has to do during any play is to know where the ball is, so he shouldn't allow himself to be pushed into it. Tramon knew where it was, and all he had to do was get away from it, like every other punt returner in the league does when it is rolling on the ground.

I don't know why Tramon suddenly turned into such a bonehead on punt returns during the last two games of the season (three muffs and a 15 yard penalty), but thankfully he continued to be as smart as ever on defense. Now let's hope Ted can get a real punt returner next year.

There seems to have been some confusion in this thread, so just to clarify: A player is allowed to go to one knee after a play (as in prayer -- Jennings does it all the time), but not to two knees, which is what Collins did. The video footage showed that very clearly. It was at the moment he hit his knees that the officials threw the flag.

uffda udfa (1h) : MM is such a creature of habit that this is going to upset his apple cart.
uffda udfa (1h) : Waited 2 hours than bused 125 miles to Milwaukee.
uffda udfa (1h) : Fog forces Packers to alter flight to Atlanta.
uffda udfa (1h) : Hoping Max McCaffery is the next Adam Thielen and right soon.
uffda udfa (1h) : Everyone knew Tate got away with OPI and even he said so.

uffda udfa (2h) : Golden Tate pushed off big time in Seattle. I said it then.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Max McCaffrey Added to Roster, J.C. Tretter Subtracted
Zero2Cool (2h) : Read what I said about Hail Mary plays and referees letting players play. Got it? Good.
Zero2Cool (2h) : I absolutely would not. Don't dare presume to speak for me. WTF.
uffda udfa (2h) : Had it been other way around I would've been screaming and so would u.
uffda udfa (2h) : It's just true. I try hard to see it and tell it like it is. Was OPI.
Zero2Cool (5h) : which is of course ok, i just personally see it as weird.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Just odd that a Packers fan points out when Packers perceived to get away with something, yet ignore opponent. Weird.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Packers added RB Christine Michael (back) to the injury report as questionable
uffda udfa (6h) : Not diminishing anything. He got away with OPI. Didn't notice before. Was in airport.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Bahahahahahahha GO PACK GO!!!!
Zero2Cool (8h) : when you're buying your Super Bowl LI Champion gear, be critical of that too!
Zero2Cool (8h) : keep trying to diminish what the Packers have done and ...
Zero2Cool (8h) : one... that's just how it goes. They let the players play. But go ahead
Zero2Cool (8h) : Everyone knows on the hail mary type passes, those little shoves won't be called. Think replacement refs 2012. So, no did not get away with
Dulak (8h) : ya I think they mentioned that U U ... but you see this alot - even in the dallas game they pushed off at least 1 time (they as in dallas)
uffda udfa (14h) : Just rewatched Cobbs hail mary catch in slo mo...he should've been flagged for OPI. Got away with one.
uffda udfa (17h) : Nope. I like Gus.
beast (17h) : Did you want Anthony Lynn as HC? Cushion Bradley was going to follow Lynn where ever.
uffda udfa (18h) : Gus Bradley is new DC in SD/LA. I would've loved to had him here in Green Bay.
uffda udfa (22h) : It's just fine.
musccy (22h) : 5 questionable Packers, none for Falcons. Not good.
uffda udfa (23h) : Jordy not listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL. Questionable on injury report.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : This is the 6th straight game we've faced someone for the 2nd time. We learn.
uffda udfa (21-Jan) : Aaron: I like our role. I like our chances. (said he relishes being an underdog)
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Aaron alludes to fake crowd noise at Georgia Dome for Sunday.
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : So, to recap. Losing streak "just the way it is", winning streak "astronomical feat". #Balanced
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ironically, he called the turn around "astronomical" not just the way it is in the NFL. #Don'tMissTheIrony
uffda udfa (20-Jan) : Ted tells Demovsky the Packers weren't underachieving when 4-6. Just the way it is in the NFL????
