Against the Steelers, the Packers had

1.) a running game that was largely neglected (their 50 yards rushing was the second lowest total for a Super Bowl winner, and their 13 attempts tied for the lowest number by a winner),

2.) special teams that gave away field position in chunks,

3.) a boatload of dropped passes,

4.) a defense that was soft against the rush (126 yards allowed, 5.5 per carry), and

5.) a fair number of penalties (7 for 67 yards)

yet they still won the game. These were the things that were supposed to prevent the Packers from winning. I guess it goes to show that sterling QB play and a defense that generates turnovers makes up for a lot.

GB has learned to overcome their mistakes all season long. They can drop passes and yet still make the big plays. they can have penalties and still move the chains. Mike McCarthy and ARod game planned for a passing attack. ARod could look over the defense and then change the play.

I was quite surprised how many times arod targeted nelson; guess Mike McCarthy told arod to specifically target him because of his coverage. Would of liked to see DD in there :( too bad.

Turnovers!!! Turnovers!!! Turnovers!!!

The key to most any win in the NFL.

Pack took the ball away and scored 21 points off turnovers, enough said.
