Glad he will be expecting a successful recovery... God's speed.
Every time something like this happens.. I think how lucky I was to be hit by a speeding truck head on while moving quite briskly myself and still be mobile.. I can't imagine it for any of these kids. |

And I try to make him regret that mistake daily.. Seriously, if I had to do it again, the accident, I may not change my fate.. it has filled my life with an interesting perspective that I leverage in how I look at life and the choices I make towards others. Sounds strange, but it matured me at a young age and it's something I in time have embraced. Twisted I know.. but reality. |

At 19, I was in a place and saw/did things that no one should have to see or do. It made a part of me who I am today. Good or bad, who's to say. But I understand where you are coming from.

VR... I have much respect for you.. and I can't image that either, pops tells stories about that from time to time.. I wish that upon no one.
Thank you is all I can say. |

What we go through molds us into the people God wants us to be. I often ask why i have gone through what i have. Many times God blesses me in showing me why. I have been able to help others BECAUSE of the trials i have endured. I once helped a lady on the computer that has the same disease i have. It had her so down that she couldn't do anything. Her muscles atrophied because she was afraid to walk, for fear of falling. She was almost 100% bed ridden. I comforted her, but then chewed her butt, telling her to at least TRY, and not let fear ruin her life. She made a nice recovery, where she has regained her muscle and can walk. It lifted her spirits and helped her. Had i not had what i have, i wouldn't have been able to say "I KNOW what you are going through". Try to use your life expieriences to benefit others, and in that way, YOU will benefit too! |

Not to get too spritual but the Bible often talks when you go through trials not if. Everyone faces their valleys it's how you react that builds your character. Kevin Everett was a good example from last year of someone who deoesn't give up
