I'd love to help you before the game starts, however, I need to know information, such as your operating system, which browser and what version.
I'd also recommend downloading Chrome or FireFox and giving that a try. I'm not saying to switch your browser, but just try a different one to see if you have more luck.
ya Im wondering if a different browser would help. Really liking ie thou atm ...
Ive tried 2 different versions of windows 7 one home 32 bit one professional 64 bit; and using the latest ie 9.
do I need java installed on my computer to get this to work? doesnt say anything about it but havnt installed java yet.
the chat screen is blanked out for the chat window a x and the feed doesnt have anything ... I know it gives a error says windows has blocked this software because cant verify etc ...
tried to mess around with the active x controls but so far a no go.

It seems to be Chrome that has the most problems with the particular applet you use. I tend to have better luck with Firefox or Internet Explorer, although it's variable. Sometimes it's flaky, sometimes it works just fine. The issue is probably that Chrome updates invisibly, so the version can vary with the day.

If the chat isn't working and the feed isn't working, it's definitely a browser issue.
You shouldn't need to manually install Java because the browser should install the plugin for you, or prompt you to do so.
Are you able to provide screen shots? You can attach them to this thread if you wish.

You have your settings on your browser set pretty tight. Rourke could probably instruct you on how to loosen up. I'm not positive and don't wanna lead you in the wrong direction.
