Can someone tell me why Donald Driver isn't in the rotation more? It can't be age. He's still got it. And he got us the dagger TD tonight.
In the preseason, people made fun of me for being so pro-Driver. He's clearly better than James Jones (in my opinion anyway). He still has the moves, and the HANDS.
HANDS.
4 drops by the Packers tonight. 2 by Jordy, 1 by Finley, and 1 by someone I'm too drunk to remember.
HANDS. VETERAN LEADERSHIP.
DONALD DRIVER!
So why isn't he in there? |

He will be getting it.. that mental error by Jones will get Driver more play. He is coming.. tell them Driver is coming. |

So why isn't he in there? Look at the picture Pack93z made me. Yes, Driver still has "it." I'd love to see more Driver and less Jones as well. Jones should have had that TD. Driver would have caught that. Maybe Driver will be our secret weapon later on in the year, after Gregorious, Jordy, and Cobb leave their mark. I'm not expecting much from Jones or Finley other than more key drops. I have faith in Jordy to catch the ball. I think tonight was a fluke. |
My man Donald Driver (thanks to Pack93z for the pic) 2010 will be seen as the beginning of the new Packers dynasty. |

The only reason I can think of: other WRs have outplayed him in practice. Which is still a shitty reason because time after time Driver has proven he brings it during games - often better than our other WRs.
I'll be interested to see the snap count of tonight's game. Driver really should be getting a good number of snaps - he certainly can still play the game at a high level. |

So why isn't he in there? James Jones, in the endzone...hit both hands. Had a little much on it and Jones had to jump high for it, but it hit him in both hands. The old man still has it. Driver needs more snaps. Not all snaps...but he should definitely be in the game. Loved his touchdown dance, haha. |

Yes. His TD dance was sexy.
Showing the young ones how it's done. |

Donald Driver had the most drops last season for the Packers not named Finley. |

It was nice to see Donald Driver with the TD catch doing his dancing with the stars routine. I have to admit that we have a lot of WRs competing for these spots. I am thinking that Jones should take a seat to Driver after yesterday. Maybe Jones just never got his shot to play WR consistently with the pack and is therefore making mistakes. Unfortunately, he is not a young player anymore and the pack can't sacrifice the time to let him "develop" with new guys waiting to be the Gregarious. |

JJ needs to work on "over the shoulder" and also turning and catching. Until he masters those skills, he should descend the depth chart, much like Shields did this preseason. |

Driver should get more playing time. He is still a good possession reciever IMO. A good option on third and short instead of throwing a 60 yard bomb.
That call is still grinding on me. |

I just think the coaches want to bring him along slowly. I do believe we will see him in some games this year. |

A game the Packers *should* win and can test the waters with Boykin. At this point, he can't be any worse than James Jones. Not completing your route is a big no no in Mr. Rodgers neighborhood. |
