sourceclick the link please Quote:ASHWAUBENON — Green Bay Packers safety Charles Woodson today said he's donating $100,000 to the Red Cross to assist families hurt by Superstorm Sandy in recent days.
Woodson said he's grateful for the sense of community that allowed the Packers to thrive in Green Bay, and he wants to give back to other similar communities that are hurting. This man is great. |

Charles Woodson.. my goodness have you grown.
For the days in Oakland in which you were questioned for your maturity and priorities to today becoming a true citizen of not only this state, but this country.
Well Done.. well done indeed. |

Always nice to see Packers (and anyone, really) giving meaningful amounts of money to charity. You'll see companies and organizations that pull in millions donate $10,000 here, $20,000 there which is awesome, but I always wonder how much more they could really give. |

Props to Charles. Imagine the relief that would be given to these communities if athletes in the position such as Charles donated their money. It would be phenomenal relief for these communities. $100,000 doesn't even begin to break the bank of most major athletes that know how to use their money. |

Well Done.. well done indeed. When he was a child, he spake as a child, he understood as a child, he thought as a child: but when he became a man, he put away childish things. Well done Charles. |

Also, the NFL and NBA each only donated 1 million to the hurricane relief. |
