We have to remember they still suck a LOT.
Next week will be telling. I hope he does good.

Yeah... they have a couple years to go before they'll be good again. They took a step in the right direction this offseason but they'll probably still be a 4 or 5 win team.

Glad to see Favre do well in his new location. In a few years he will have his number retired back home. Here's to hoping that we play against the Jets this year in a superbowl matchup between Jet Favre and TT's new world order. Go Prodigal Son. Go Green Bay Packers.
Would be nice - we'll have the #31 and the #32 draft picks. I betTed Thompsontrades both of them for more picks. :thumbright:
Not likely. How many DT's can there be in the college ranks with an injury history. :wickedfart:

Favre looked great out there, but then again he always does!! Did anyone see the interview with Favre before the game began, that said it all. I still believe in what he has said because he is a very genuine person. I think like Favre has said he needs that chemistry between his receivers and with only having a few weeks with them they can only get better. The Jets have some pretty good players on field, especially their running backs Jones and Washington. I think that chemistry will come down the line.
We have to remember that the Dolphins are not that same team from last year, they picked up some good players as well with Chad Pennington every team tries to get better during the off season with pick ups in the draft and free agency I think the Dolphins added some new players.
I think this team will get better as the season goes on and even if they dont it sure is nice to see Favre out there doing what he does best.
Yeah, I hope the chemistry gets better. I know this is bad, but I'm not rooting necessarily for the Jets to win, but for Favre to do well. I'd like the Jets to do well so the Packers get a higher draft pick, but I especially want Favre to throw 30+ TDs this year and come back another year or more.
I'm also hoping Favre puts his wins, TD and yards records out of reach. People who say stats don't matter I think are kind of saying it with a wink. Records do matter. Favre has two more good seasons, there's no way P Manning catches him.
Look at Brady. He went down and is out for the season. He's been pretty Ironmanish. I don't think P Manning plays this whole season, not because I want him to get hurt (I wouldn't wish a football injury on anyone, I've had one and it sucks), but because I don't think he's 100%. He wasn't looking good against da Bears at all.

Me too. They're now my 2nd favorite team (until Favre retires).
