Wow, this is some shady stuff here.

Lomas Brown said:
We were playing Green Bay in Milwaukee. We were getting beat, 24-3, at that time and he just stunk up the place. He’s throwing interceptions, just everything. So I looked at Kevin Glover, our All-Pro center and I said, ‘Glove, that is it.’ I said, ‘I’m getting him out the game.’ . . . So I got the gator arms on the guy at the last minute, he got around me, he hit Scott Mitchell, he did something to his finger . . . and he came out the game. [Lions backup quarterback] Dave Krieg came in the game.

As you can tell, I’m just not a big fan of Scott Mitchell. He’s just not on my Christmas list. He won’t be getting any Christmas presents from me this year

And for Brown, who is suing the NFL because he says the NFL didn’t do enough to protect players from concussions, to celebrate the fact that he once stood by and allowed an opponent to take an injury-causing free shot at a teammate, is pitiful.

That.

Not all that different from Bountygate. A shame a teammate would purposely let another get hurt.

We are, afterall talking Detroit Lions here.
They have never been to a Super Bowl and haven't won a championship since 1957.
This is a frustrated leaderless team from top to bottom.
We have seen time and again this frustration boil over into acts of stupidity by some of the Lions players on and off the field.

From a team perspective, yeah it is a polar opposite reaction one should take.

But if you have ever experienced the cocky arrogance of some of these f$^%ing QB's and their pumped up ego's and over inflated sense of importance of their place upon a team. To the point they are strangling the passion out of a football team, it might be best to let them take their f$^%ing lumps to shut their ass up. And this is from well before they get showered with the glory of being an NFL QB. This type of nonsense happens all the way down to prep ball.

Maybe, just maybe, Scott Mitchell was such a prick. And maybe, just maybe, letting him get rocked was the best for the team at that time.

Yes, QB's can be that way.. so full of themselves they think they are the team.

In my mind, that falls on the coach to yank him - not on his teammates to get him crippled.

That is a demonstration of the lack of character not only as a football player but as a person.

Zero2Cool (3m) : Zone defenses always must answer this question: is it better to invest in top CBs, or better to invest in pass rushers who can make a CB’s job easier?
Zero2Cool (10m) : Packers giving away $500 Pro Shop gift card and 11 2018 Official Draft Caps
Zero2Cool (11m) : can't restrict

Zero2Cool (7h) : Who the hell gives a shit about Sat/Sun now? 3rd to 7th round? F U
Zero2Cool (7h) : I thought Sat/Sun was great. You make a weekend of it. Have buddies over, cookout, etc.
TheKanataThrilla (8h) : During the afternoons I tend to get caught up in family routines. I don't mind that for the later rounds.
TheKanataThrilla (8h) : I now take Friday off work. It is a bit annoying, but I do find it fun at night as I can crack a few beers and enjoy. Sucks if they trade out of the first round though.
wpr (16h) : I liked the Sat Sun version.
beast (22h) : HELL YEAH! ... the draft was SOOOO MUCH BETTER in the ol Saturday/Sunday format... only people that I've heard disagree are those that don't really follow the draft and just random get updates on thei
beast (22h) : Key word there is "proven"... not if they're true, but if you can prove it. Jerry Jones said the same thing for Greg Hardy, it wasn't "proven".
Zero2Cool (23h) : Flat out honesty from 49ers GM
Zero2Cool (23h) : John Lynch: “if these charges are proven true, if Reuben did hit this young lady, he won’t be part of our organization moving forward.”
Smokey (23h) : 49ers / Bye Week / Rams
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : Brian Gutekunst: “Draft was way better when it was Saturday and Sunday.”
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : With pick #14, @CFD22 has the @Packers selecting UTSA DE Marcus Davenport.
Porforis (23-Apr) : He'll probably resort to buying and using Chicago Bears tickets.
Smokey (22-Apr) : Restrict Zero's toilet paper !
buckeyepackfan (22-Apr) : You gonna withhold your monthly dues until Zero gets the schedule posted Smokey? Lol
Smokey (22-Apr) : Zero, please post the new 2018 Packers Schedule. Thank You
Smokey (22-Apr) : DRAFT "CHAT" this Thursday night !
gbguy20 (20-Apr) : you're probably right
TheKanataThrilla (19-Apr) : I was thinking Dez gbguy20
gbguy20 (19-Apr) : Bmarsh cut. preparing for obj extension?
Zero2Cool (19-Apr) : Week 1: at Packers — Sept. 9 (SNF)
Cheesey (19-Apr) : I don't know. I don't have HBO. I only have regular BO.
Smokey (19-Apr) : Who is HBO's 2018 "Hard Knocks" team ?
Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : Jimmy Graham on choosing Packers -- Why Green Bay instead of New Orleans? "#12 is hungry
DarkaneRules (17-Apr) : When he talked about missing guys he didn't mentioned Greg Jennings :)
Zero2Cool (17-Apr) : it won't though. thus, off-season = hate season
