I really see no need to have to kill the Giants on our way to a super bowl. Yeah, they beat us earlier this year. Yeah, they knocked us out last year. But they're not division rivals and they don't have any major history with us this year like the Seachickens do.

Boy is that a Kenny Clueless answer. The Giants are one of the four original teams with the Packers, Bears, and Cardinals. Of course we have more history with them than a stupid refereeing error with the Seahags. I could really care less about that anymore, although we would already have the second seed wrapped up.

The "Call" in Seattle, may help the Packers at this point more than hurt them. It provides a extra level of motivation if the Packers and SeaChickens hook up. But that is about the only real meaningful history we have with SeaChickens... other than coaches and front office personnel stepping from GB to Seattle.

The Giants on the other hand have more on field history with the Packers recent and long ago. Dating all the way back to 1938 NFL Championship game. A couple memorable games in the 60's as well.. through the last couple of seasons, including Favre's last game as a Packer.

So indeed, the history advantage definitely belongs to the Giants.. even in recent times.

I think it is due to the time frame I grew up. When the Bears were good, and the Vikes, well not so good. When we play those teams, if the Vikings are not that good, I don't get into the game that much, through I still want to beat them. It doesn't matter if the Bears are good or bad. I want to destroy them.

I don't want us losing to let either team in. I want us to take care of business and how ever the rest plays out, if one of them gets in, we will just have to beat them if we end up playing.

Fair enough, I forgot Matt stuck his foot in his mouth and bit down hard. =d>

I still will bank more history, both recent and past with the Giants.

shield4life (6h) : Resign Nick Perry
uffda udfa (10h) : Need some strong sharp passionate voices on D. Daniels gives great quotes.
uffda udfa (10h) : Nick Perry seems to be the team leader as he was giving pregame speeches that seemed very uninspiring.
uffda udfa (10h) : Morgan and his 14 wonderlic. Ever hear him talk? Man, not a bright guy at all.
uffda udfa (10h) : Burnett needs to be replaced. That's our leader? Or one of them? No, thanks.
beast (12h) : For the secondary, I think Burnett/Haha are the leaders.
Smokey (12h) : GB needs a new motto : DEFENSE RULES ! , is intended to change the direction of the Packers focus moving forward .
Smokey (12h) : Thank You Zero.
Zero2Cool (12h) : Great reading a thread and seeing "defense rules" spammed in them all. Great reading material.
Smokey (13h) : DEFENSE RULES !
Zero2Cool (13h) : Think you need to defensive leaders. Front Seven and Secondary. We seem to lack both. Daniels is closest.
beast (13h) : Packers players had a right to complain when they were being bullied by Mike Daniels... just talking about Packers ;-) jk
Zero2Cool (13h) : It was the 26th largest margin since 1940. Feels much worse
Zero2Cool (13h) : thought it was biggest margin of victory in Conf Championship, I was mistaken.
Smokey (16h) : Wow ! The Packers got disrespected too !
Smokey (16h) : Hello ?
uffda udfa (17h) : Can't. MM burned them all.
Smokey (17h) : go pack go ?
wpr (17h) : Smokey AND Uffda, you both ca be placed in a timeout. Stop it.
Smokey (17h) : go pack go :)
Zero2Cool (17h) : STOP! Talk Packers or STFU. K thanks. :-)
uffda udfa (17h) : Ranting about everyone to stop talking Wolf while talking cooking appliances.
uffda udfa (17h) : I told you the truth. It upset you. U were hypocritical.
Smokey (18h) : yes I was, but he just ...
Zero2Cool (19h) : We all have the same ability to ignore someone. Exercise that. GO PACK GO!!!
Smokey (19h) : NOT YOUR FIGHT NONSTOP
Nonstopdrivel (19h) : ving again.
Nonstopdrivel (19h) : Calling him a bully? Telling him to leave? Seriously? This is the kind of shit that drove me away last time and is making me contemplate lea
Smokey (20h) : Be a good fellow and go pester another forum.
Smokey (20h) : It amazes me that you've remained in this forum for as long as you have.
Smokey (20h) : This is not your schoolyard to bully others, in fact I was that kid who stood up to the bully and kicked his ass.
Smokey (20h) : In the end the bully ended up in prison as everyone else grew up and moved on with their lives.
Smokey (20h) : I rate you with the hated schoolyard bully that tried to terrorize others to feel himself big.
Smokey (20h) : U2, it is obvious that you don't care if people like you or not. Well people don't.
uffda udfa (22h) : It's the same day every day at 1265. They crave sameness.
