misleading title is misleading.
He never says hes unhappy. Sure, hes anxious to get back on the field, but the doctors know with collarbone fractures that you don't want to rush back from them. The longer you hold out the better. We don't need him right now, so there is no reason to bring him back. Obviously if there is an injury in the secondary we won't be able to afford keeping on the sidelines anymore, so yes, he would be "ready to go." He'll be back for the playoffs. This is a huge non issue, there is no story here. |

all is well.
I am sure he wants to play a few more years and being out on the field for 3-4 reg season games plus playoffs would have been a bargaining chip for him. While he loves the game he knows that losing playing time will cost him big bucks down the road. |

I am happy to see how the backend has held up. There are still plays where the communication is not there, but they have improved since last year and that is big. Still the story to me is the impact Clay and Neal have on the defense as a whole.

 Woody is fine. Any player in his situation would be itching to get back into the game. Luckily, he has pretty decent back up from these rookies so he can heal better. I wouldn't want to take the chance with a healing collarbone, especially in his role on defense where he is basically an extra linebacker. |

2. I admit that I was wrong about drafting Hayward. But if the price of bringing Woodson in is having Hayward sit more, I'd rather have Hayward sit. Woodson on the downslope is still better than Hayward right now.

IMO. I thought about it when he was injured. Back then I decided that I would be worried about it if he was 25 or so. With only a year or two (If any) left in his playing days I am not worried. Since then I have also concluded it is not as much of an issue because of the pay of the young dbs. |
