Quote:
Finley is listed as having a quad injury, although he also has been dealing with a swollen eye after getting poked in it during the Week 17 loss to the same Vikings team they’ll be hosting this weekend.

Nelson’s return to practice is a good sign for the Packers, although it doesn’t mean he’s definitely going to play. Coach Mike McCarthy said that Nelson looked good running, but that the team doctor “has some concerns” about his knee, according to Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee.

Finley should be ok.

Woody's back too. So Jordy's a maybe and Worthy is out.

Great.. more opportunities for Mike McCarthy to instruct Rodgers to attempt to slaughter trivial team records in place of trying to win. [grin1]

Seriously though... a full compliment of receivers would be a welcomed sight for the Packers this season.. coupled with a improving running game in terms of effectiveness.. should really start to put pressure on defenses.

I just hope the team learns to effectively tackle AP this weekend.. then advance to a rematch with the Niners.

At least we know Woodson will put his face in there. Hopefully him making a play will spark the whole team. That's what we missed about him.

There's one guy who will not shy away from contact, his coverage skills may not be as good as some but his tackling is better than most of The Packers db's.

Of course I'm talking about the "most hated Packer" Jarret Bush!!!

Watch and see if Bush doesn't spell Woody at times and plays that 8th man in the box position.

Tramon, Sam and the rest of the boys can stay back in coverage, let Woody and Bush be the db Hammers!!!

Well now that the AP breaking the record thing is over, maybe we can actually get a few obvious holding calls draw flags on runs that are broken to the outside.

Woodson will help tremendously in run support.

I do see Bush out there on the goaline packages. Maybe he's playing Woodsons role there too. I just can't wait to have Woody covering TE's again. Because frankly McMillian is fucking out matched. And it seems like he's on a TE more than not.

It seems like it's been forever since the Pack has had all of the WR's on the field. I sure hope Nelson can play.

I see the cumulative effect of all the receivers we have on the field together making a huge difference in sustaining drives and scoring more points.

It's been great that this player or that player has stepped up any given week but I'll take Arod spreading the ball around to all these guys totally frustrating defenses any day.

Indeed. I'm more concerned about him breaking his collarbone again.

Smokey (1h) : Potential NFL Draftees and Players are asked to take it to score how smart they are .
Smokey (1h) : Wonderlic is a cognitive ability test, usually administered to new employees.
Smokey (1h) : It should not just be assumed that everyone knows what,"Wonderlic" is .
Zero2Cool (2h) : Most players don't care about wonderlic. Some agents prep players. Not reasonable standard.
beast (2h) : We shouldn't judge. ..
uffda udfa (2h) : He has a rep for keen football intelligence. Some guys just don't come across as bright.
uffda udfa (2h) : What thing should we judge intelligence on? Wonderlic is out to you. How he sounds is out.. what is criteria?
uffda udfa (2h) : Are you taking issue with him not being particularly bright? Based on what?
beast (3h) : It's sad your judging a person brightness on such shallow things...
shield4life (12h) : Resign Nick Perry
uffda udfa (16h) : Need some strong sharp passionate voices on D. Daniels gives great quotes.
uffda udfa (16h) : Nick Perry seems to be the team leader as he was giving pregame speeches that seemed very uninspiring.
uffda udfa (16h) : Morgan and his 14 wonderlic. Ever hear him talk? Man, not a bright guy at all.
uffda udfa (16h) : Burnett needs to be replaced. That's our leader? Or one of them? No, thanks.
beast (18h) : For the secondary, I think Burnett/Haha are the leaders.
Smokey (18h) : GB needs a new motto : DEFENSE RULES ! , is intended to change the direction of the Packers focus moving forward .
Smokey (18h) : Thank You Zero.
Zero2Cool (18h) : Great reading a thread and seeing "defense rules" spammed in them all. Great reading material.
Smokey (19h) : DEFENSE RULES !
Zero2Cool (19h) : Think you need to defensive leaders. Front Seven and Secondary. We seem to lack both. Daniels is closest.
beast (19h) : Packers players had a right to complain when they were being bullied by Mike Daniels... just talking about Packers ;-) jk
Zero2Cool (19h) : It was the 26th largest margin since 1940. Feels much worse
Zero2Cool (19h) : thought it was biggest margin of victory in Conf Championship, I was mistaken.
Smokey (22h) : Wow ! The Packers got disrespected too !
Smokey (22h) : Hello ?
uffda udfa (23h) : Can't. MM burned them all.
Smokey (23h) : go pack go ?
wpr (23h) : Smokey AND Uffda, you both ca be placed in a timeout. Stop it.
Smokey (23h) : go pack go :)
Zero2Cool (23h) : STOP! Talk Packers or STFU. K thanks. :-)
uffda udfa (23h) : Ranting about everyone to stop talking Wolf while talking cooking appliances.
