Last night I saw Josh Sitton alternating between left guard and right guard during the Pro Bowl. McCarthy was coaching the game for the NFC. Might we see a switch to the left side for Sitton next year? Seems like a convenient way for Mike McCarthy to get some extra reps with Sitton to get a different look.

Why would he switch? He wouldn't because it wouldn't make any sense. It's not like there's another player on this team who is a great RG but a bad LG.

I saw somebody post this on another forum.

LT - Newhouse / Sherrod
LG - Sitton
C - Lang / EDS
RG - Barclay
RT - Bulaga

What I do know is that all positions should be up for competition next training camp. Throw in a couple rookies and Van Roten. Realistically, we quite a few players with experience, but only 2 - Sitton and Bulaga that are legitimate all pro potential.

This is what I was thinking.

Next to that, why switch Sitton from RG, where he's been playing on an all-pro level for years now. Barclay won't start at G next year with Lang playing the way he has. I don't see why you'd change up the only stable part of our O-line that's functioning more than properly as it is.

He was on the field the same time as Chris Snee was, an o-lineman who's played RG his entire career. Something had to give there. I saw Okung play RT, but I'm pretty sure the Seahawks aren't thinking about switching him to the right side. It's just that the Pro Bowl tends to get flooded with LTs. And in this case, RGs, instead of LGs.
