Man the play of the night was wiped out by a stupid penalty.

Great game i knew he could do it. I'm not going to compare them every week, but I watched the Jets game too, and I have to say that their performances were pretty similar. Both of them were virtually flawless (Favre did have one fumble). Both of them had a long completion early. Neither of them had huge yardage totals, because they just weren't those kinds of games. Favre threw two TD passes, while Rodgers threw one (very Favre-like) TD pass and ran for another. I wish Kornhole would have pointed out that Favre did NOT do QB sneaks in recent years. Also, Rodgers had several scrambles to keep drives alive, which is something Favre did not do much in the past few years. So he even did some things that went above and beyond what we hoped for. |
