I'd rather take a swing on a rookie than have a 23 mil cap hit.
But that's just me. Rodgers for 3 firsts and change yessir!

Cap hit will not be 23mil, the contract will be structured so cap hit is minimal the first few years.
I'm betting no more than 10-12 mil max, could be a lot less.

Right, the theoretical deal I set up in the other thread was $258 million for 10 years with only a $10 million cap hit the first year. A lesser deal would be even less hit.
