Cheesey - Are you sure your hearing aid is working? She was probably just asking where the cream was.

Well......i COULD have been mistaken........what she said did have the words "cream"........."Cheeese".....and "cute".
Maybe she was making a remark about how cute Cheesey is, that it makes her..........uh.......nevermind!!!

I didn't read the thread so pardon if this was mentioned, but during his live blog today he also mentioned that Rodgers was the best QB in the NFC if he stays healthy. Florio is a dumbass sometimes but ya still gotta love A-Rod getting respect he deserves.

Yes sir I do. I usually prefer to just read what others write and keep to myself, but it is just so damn slow at work that I have and will be continuing to post more often.

Everyone on the ESPN crew - Ditka, Johnson, Carter, Mort, and Jackson - picked Green Bay.

Okay, NOW it's getting scary. I'm still on the fence, myself. It just seems like such a toss-up.

WTF... why are these assclowns picking our Packers? We weren't good enough for them when Favre was traded. Why are we suddenly their freaking darlings!!!

I want a recount! :)

What do you think?

I think Florio would do fine on his own without his little sidekick.

All is not lost. I just found a writer who picked the Cowboys: Adam Duerson of Sports Illustrated:

http://sportsillustrated...week3/index.html?eref=T1

His pick is Cowboys 45 Packers 30. He does make a statement that I found to be pretty weird, though:

"Statistically, Rodgers has outperformed Favre in '08. Dominated, really, if you've watched all four of their combined games. I'll let the stats speak: In two games, Rodgers has four scores, zero interceptions, a 117.8 passer rating and he's only been sacked once. Compare that against Favre's three, one, 104.1 and five. Close enough, I guess, but is there honestly a Packers fan out there who would switch back?"

ANSWER: Um, yes. There are still quite a lot of them, actually. And Rodgers has not "dominated" Favre statistically. I'm a big Rodgers fan, but why exaggerate?

many reasons to exaggerate as a sports writer, very few reasons not to exaggerate. case in point; tony kornheiser. example, "Greg Jennings has about a million yards after the catch tonight."

Kornheiser had a couple others during that first Monday night game: He said that Adrian Peterson gained "a million yards" last season and that there are "about 5,000 pounds of Williams" in the middle of the Vikings D-line.
