Well now we know why they had to release Saine and Smith. They must have wanted to really load up on UDFAs. I bet they get a good pick of the UDFAs too because they are probably getting a good rep for giving those guys actual opportunities.

Trader Ted strikes back. He obviously feels the team needs more depth, so it's going to be a very competitive training camp.

IMHO we needed quality not quantity.
There is no trophy for being the youngest team in the league.

If the majority of the board is similar quality then wouldn't having more of those guys = more quality?

No. It would not be wrong. It would be a change in philosophy. They had more athletic guys and now think they need bigger tougher guys.

if you totally change philosophy that tends to mean you were wrong. Or the whole league changed philosophy/rules.

Nope, not totally changing philosophy, but rather adapting. That is something that needs to be done in the NFL. Sometimes, at a game by game basis. You adapt.

As day three is about to start, Ted better be looking for move up fast and improve the Oline or our getting a RB is going to be a waste.
