ProFootballTalk said: There are multiple routes a backup quarterback can take to a starting job. In the case of Green Bay's Graham Harrell, he will likely have to take a road familiar to the passers who have played behind Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers in the last 20 years. In short, Harrell's going to have to show

Hopefully we can "harvest" him for something of value - trade or compensatory pick. I can believe Harrell is making progress, and maybe even that he could be a mid-grade starting QB for somebody. Coleman, however, seems to have a bigger upside, although even he will probably end up being "harvested" in a several years - barring the unthinkable - an injury to Aaron Rodgers.

I'd rather have someone else's reject. I had high hopes for him, especially in light of MM's propensity to take one of these guys under his wing. I'm feelin' nothin' with Graham Harrell. I don't like him as our backup AT ALL with the information in front of me at this time.

If only the Packers faithful felt "more comfortable" with HIM.
He'll get a chance to win us over this preseason. Should be interesting.

I like Harrell, from what I've read he works hard to improve and takes coaching very well. With that said, I believe he will have a battle to fend Coleman off this year for number 2.

Think they'd keep him as a #3?

Only if the rookie, Matt Brown, shows nothing at all.
