I'll be disappointed if Sherrod's not activated this season.

I like Thompson. He reminds me of David Byrne.

When you put the best QB in the league behind a consistent medicore line where he is running for his life and taking boatloads of sacks eventually the inability to deal with the O-line is gonna bite us in the ass. Either that will be a Rodgers season-ending injury, or eventually when his legs are not as lively a guy that just can't get to the safe spot in time to make the throw to the open guy. Worst would be a pissed off QB who wants out. Don't think it will ever get there, but who knows.

Ted has invested TWO 1st round picks in the Oline. I think he takes a C high next year.

I'll take the over, largely because he holds the ball too long.

Then again, maybe the situation will inspire Aaron to get the ball out.

Didn't hear anything about them using a 2.5 second clock in training camp this year. Not sure if I'm happy or disappointed by that.

Well I read somewhere profootballfocus wrote Rodgers was releasing the ball faster than anybody in preseason so far.

Is that his throwing motion? As in "he has a quick release?"

Or does that refer to how long he holds onto the ball before he throws it?

That was my take too. From some of the posts here and the comments I read on PFT it seems we might be in the minority...

Q: What would you say to those who are worried that Aaron Rodgers is being protected by a pair of young tackles?

Thompson: It would probably depend on who the people were. Go on with their life, everything else will be fine.

Sounds more like he's saying relax, we got this covered so you can continue with your lives as you were.
