Sherrod.

If Tretter returns, it won't be before week 10.

This is the first week they can practice, right?

We are currently in Week Six. I just don't know if that's when they can practice or if it's after week six.

I want this player to be Sean Richardson. It would be the best thing for this team to have a healthy, new 6-2 210 Safety with a nose for the ball.

I see no rush to get Sherrod back with the way Bakhtiari and Barclay are playing.
And, really, who knows if Sherrod could step in and outperform either player?

We don't need Worthy or Tretter at this point. We DO need Richardson. I'm hopeful for his return, as slim as the chance seems.

Richardson has only played like 15 snaps in his entire career and was undrafted. We don't know if he's any better than McMillian or Jennings at this point. The guy could be completely terrible.

Yeah, I know that. However, he played very well with Hayward at Vanderbilt:

The fact that they've kept him around, hell, gone out of their way to keep him around, makes me think they want very much to see if there is anything there. Maybe, maybe he gets an opportunity. I did say the chance was slim.

Out of all 4 of these players mentioned, I'd be most excited to see Richardson actually pan out, and make a successful contribution to our team this season coming off the PUP. Barring injuries at other positions, an upgrade at Safety opposite Burnett is our greatest need. It would be nice to see if Richardson could be the answer there.
