not sold on hyde for a punt returner - I mean he looked good in that one run - but to me he looks a bit skinny and can he hang onto the ball I Got to wonder

Do you have an evidence that makes you think he cannot hold onto the ball?

Apparently House came out because he was getting gassed by being the gunner on punt team. Which makes sense I guess you don't want a tired DB out there trying to cover Jacoby Jones or Torrey Smith. The way House has been playing he should probably be earning snaps over Tramon on defense. Maybe they need to find someone else to be the gunner.

They did wear down late in the game though. Keep that in mind, the next time Aaron goes into no-huddle.

Why over Tramon? Tramon has played well too. I just do not like when we play a zone in the secondary. I think our corners are talented enough to play man with just about any receiving core in the league. It seems like receivers always find holes in our zone, and it ends up allowing big plays.

Because Shields has been taking the tougher assignments this year and Tramon still plays soft when he's doing anything but covering somebody 1 on 1. If House earns any starter reps in the secondary Tramon atm is the weakest link.

I think this is a good problem to have. Our secondary is surprisingly very deep. I really just wish we would play more man coverage and stay out of the zone more. Seems like most of the big plays are given up because of a hole in the zone.

Even more big plays might be given up if they played more man coverage. They're doing good, but that's not Harris, Woodson and pre injury Williams out there. They might give a lot more coverages in man and that might be the reason they went to more zone.

But I do agree that I wish we could run some more man, if it wouldn't hurt too much, because I think Burnett could be GREAT at SS and seems like they're trusting Jennings more with FS stuff.

If they were able to get Burnett free, that means the CBs would need to be okay to be on an island by themselves at times, and i'm not sure I fully trust current Williams, and Shields can make GREAT plays, but also makes some big mistakes, would be rolling the dice.

But if they free Burnett thatm might mean more chances for INTs or getting a LB free to blitz etc...

I don't care about this TOP ratio if the Packers D plays as well as they did against Baltimore for all but about 7 minutes in the fourth quarter.
