Prayers to Jermichael and his family....hope for a full recovery to what looked like a devastating injury.

I'm not surprised quarless is shaken up. If you watch closely after the hit when quarless is right there, the only part of finley's body that moves is his head and it just shakes. From what it looked like on camera his eyes didnt appear to be open and it didnt look like he was talking, it made me wonder if he was seizing from the neck up. I haven't heard anything about that, but it almost looked like that to me. My prayers go out to the man and his family. Worst case scenario for a family who just told him to retire a few weeks ago.

It looked to me like his eyes were open, he was talking, and purposely moving his head. I could be wrong though, but that's what I thought during my first viewing.

Could Finley luck out and it "just" be a stinger? I'm really keeping the guy in my thoughts.

When I saw him crossing the field and put his head down I got angry, when the penalty flag came in I got confused, and when Finley didn't get up I immediately thought no matter what the outcome, this guy may be second guessing his career choice after what was said during the last concussion. Will keep him and his family in my thoughts. My hopes was that it was just a neck stinger, but those symptoms players report seeing sound like something neurological.

I hate to say it...This reminds me a lot of Nick Collins and how his neck injury ended his career :/
I hate watching that video clip but it shows how serious it can be even tho it doesn't look to bad.

Makes one wonder why an agent would let a player sign a two year contract in this brutal game.

God speed.

I hope that Finley has a complete recovery and is able to lead a normal life.
I wouldn't blame him if he calls it a career, which seems to be what his family wanted after the concussion.
