I'ts been a while (over a year for sure) since I have listened to any of the Packers games on WTMJ and when I caught some of the first half broadcast yesterday I noticed Wayne calling Larry "rock" several times. I never noticed this before. Has that always been his nickname or has it just recently been used. I like Wayne and Larry (they are no Jim and Max to be sure) and Wayne can make a 1 yard gain sound exciting but to be honest it got kind of old.
I respect your right to have your opinion but that doesn't mean I agree with it or respect you for having it.

I listen in off and on over the past few years. I never heard it. Maybe I don't listen as well as I thought I was. I guess I will blame it on the radio static and paying closer attention to the road. (as I should.)

That was his nick when he played C.

For many years, he had a segment on the local news called "Challenge the Rock," where he'd go to communities and high schools and perform daring feats. LOL

Guess he got too old for that.

You guys never heard "The Rock" before? Yeah, he's gone by that for years. Decades.
