Minneapolis - Rookie LT David Bakhtiari had a pretty simple game plan against Vikings sackmaster Jared Allen Sunday night at the Metrodome.

Allen seemed to be mailing it in last night. The team sucks so why tear a ligament for this team?

I am so thankful Dave has been able to hold his own over there. That is a huge deal because there was a lot of doubt in training camp early on that he was ready. This was a great break for us. He is improving nicely. We got a steal.

He IS a steal DarkaneRules! No doubt. Amazing to have such confidence in a 4th Round rookie LT playing tough against any and all that the NFL has to offer opposite him. David Bakhtiari is probably my highlight from yesterday's game. He has been playing lights-out! I'm sure being alongside Josh Sitton has helped, but you gotta hand it to the kid. He has made Aaron far more comfortable in the pocket, and his run blocking has been strong.

Great to see! As you mentioned, this was a giant question mark for us heading into the season, and Bakhtiari has made LT a non-issue for the Packers. Wow. The significance of holding Jared Allen to ZEROs is huge.
