The Packers are 5-5-1 and haven't won a game in a month, but that doesn't mean they see their season heading in the wrong direction. Instead, Packers defensive tackle Ryan Pickett told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the team is united in the belief that there's still time to turn things around and win the Super...

Ryan, don't you know you and your whole defense has already been condemned by all the online genius GM's?

Quit with the positive thinking, just because you and some of your teammates have been there and done that doesn't mean squat!!!!!

Your season is over!!!!!!!

Just ask the many "Packer Fans" on this forum, they will tell you to pack it in, go home, and hey btw thanks for playing in Green Bay but your time is done, we will be better off without you!!!!

Ryan how dare you put a positive spin a tough run of games!!!!!!

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW???????

This message brought to you by "THE DOOM AND GLOOM CULB" growing by leaps and bounds daily!!!!!

Yep, tough being a Packer fan, with all the online football "geniuses", bringing the whole forum down about 10 levels.

For the record, I never once said The Packer defense was "awesome", those words were spoken by someone else falsely claiming that was my comment.

The oldest trick in the world, post a statement enough, true or not, people will start believing it.

4 weeks ago, The Packers were 5-2...1 game ahead in The North.

Now The Packers are 5-5-1...1/2 game behind in The North.

Nobody knows what's gonna happen the next 5 weeks, no reason to be all doom and gloom until the season plays out.

I guess I'm just old school, win or lose, I'm gonna enjoy watching The Packers play football.

Not until that little ticker at the bottom of the tv screen(which will be showing up soon) lists The Packers as (eliminated from the playoffs), will I judge the season as a whole.

Pickett has the right attitude.

This is my outlook. What's to stop other teams from facing a major injury to their key player(s) as the season winds on? What's to stop a team from hitting a slump like the Lions have done the past two weeks? Season is far from over.

Does Pickett play on a below average unit? Yes. But if the players think they still have a shot, then they aren't packing it in. As a fan, I am glad to see a player have a positive attitude because it keeps me interested in watching them. Imo, it is a long shot for this defense to turn it around but no one knows what can happen in the next few weeks.

I believe they HAVE THE TALENT to go all the way.

Frankly this is something I've been saying for YEARS. They have the talent, but both sides of the ball are consistently less than the sum of their parts.

Normally everyone says, THAT'S OK BECAUSE WE WON ANYHOW. Well guess what. This is what you get when you take that attitude.

Now they're doing the same things. Not knowing who to cover. Not filling their gaps. Only we're losing.

You continuously shit yourself on the field and do nothing about it, pretty soon that becomes habitual.

I don't see the talent on this team, kind of like my fantasy team that is loaded with big names but i am losing all the time. Can you honestly look in the mirror and actually think we have a chance to win the Super Bowl, Hell we can't even get out of the 1st round anymore and we look like a team that is a top 10 drafting team not a playoff team.

Yep. That's how Mike's teams ALWAYS look.

Right now, we need to make the playoffs. Once that happens, anything goes.

Any given Sunday, dude. ;)

They havent gone out in the 1st round since 2009 and have only lost to super bowl teams since then. So basically you are crying that they Werent the best team in the nfc more than once in the last three years. Just another whiny spoiled packers fan.

That really isn't much of a challenge. Most crybabies are easily agitated.

As for Pickett's comments - maybe he and Raji want to trade back in those roller skates they've been wearing and get some cleats on.

If we can get by Detroit, then there is a chance, a really slim chance - like Dumb and Dumber one in a million chance.
