What do you think about Clements being the QB coach and Offensive Coordinator? Aaron Rodgers likes Clements as QB coach.

I'd prefer they go with Van Pelt or bring in someone new. A different perspective wouldn't hurt.

Unofficially I think Mike McCarthy is the head coach, offensive coordinator and QB coach (at least to a degree)

That being said Mike McCarthy seems to use QB coach title as a stepping stone... so I see one of the vet Packers coaches getting it even if they've never coached QBs. I believe Mike McCarthy has said he believes if you can coach one position then you can coach another and he and Clements will help the QB coach if they need any.

And besides putting a coach at QB coach, would give them room to hire a new coach at another position, you can use as much good help as you can get, so get another guy after Mike McCarthy places one of the vets at QB coach freeing up WR, OL, TE or maybe RB coach.

If the WR or TE coach get moved to QB coach, I think the RB coach might be moved to that position and we'll be looking for a new RB coach.

Edgar Bennett.

He could take over for Mike someday when Mike retires with a few more rings.

We all found out how critical QB play and development is this year. So why lessen the level of that coaching by sharing duties?

While none of us know exactly what McCarthy and Clements do on a daily basis, it seems to work decently well. Asking them to do more in another area, would mean a lessening of their focus on existing responsibilities.

Anyone think Flynn would have done as well as he did, if he had a part time coach? Anyone think that during the week, McAdoo wasn't with Flynn for about 60 hours?

We need a full time QB coach. Don't mess with what's working.
