Ted just doing his job here.

This guy will probably never make it to the 53 man roster, but who knows?

Ted's kind of guy.

Couldn't make the NFL as a WR, so put on some extra weight to try to make it as a TE.

I wish Ted Thompson would shop around basketball rosters. Last year I mentioned Brusewitz from the Badgers. There's a lot of nasty power forwards who aren't good enough for the NBA, most of them with decent speed and ball skills. I can't help thinking Jimmy Graham is not the only one. The guy from Kansas U. this year might be another example.

Well look it at that. Packers are more active than most teams in free agency already.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- This probably isn't what Green Bay Packers fans had in mind when they read earlier that the team will have money and salary-cap space available for free agency this year, but the Packers signed a tight end off the street on Thursday.

General manager Ted Thompson announced that he has signed the 6-foot-2, 237-pound Raymond Webber, who last was in an NFL training camp in 2012 with the New York Jets.

Webber played at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and led the Southwestern Athletic Conference with 101 catches for 1,429 yards in 2010 as a receiver.

Pair this guy up with Bostick, and we might have something. Between those to and Stoneburner, at least one of them should really step up.

Quarless has been through some shit. He stepped up this year when we needed him. He's no Finley, and he's not back to where he was as a blocker, but he stepped up when Aaron went down.
