sure bout that??

"Jared Allen has been arrested/charged for DUI a total of three times"

seems like he'd fit in quite well in Wisconsin.

He has had a mullet. He'd be right at home in Antigo.

If he's cheap enough, hell yeah, sign him. We had that other thread about Arthur Jones and Lamarr Houston; I'd take Jared Allen over either of them any day - and he'd probably cost less.

Jared Allen does not fit the scheme. He's too small to play 3-4 end and you don’t take a guy who has played with his hand in the dirt for 10 years and make him into an outside linebacker. If you want to upgrade the pass rush with a veteran, then Lamarr Woodley is a better investment for the Packers.

Another 4-3 guy. Sounds like a Dom Capers special!

I absolutely would NOT want another Neal-like experiment - making him an OLB. I also agree he isn't suited to be a full time 3-4 DE. However, as a fairly low cost pass rush specialist - hand in the dirt, I like that idea. Same side as Matthews/Opposite side as Matthews, either way sounds pretty good.

I suppose Allen will demand too much money, though.

It would be a pretty sweet burn on the Vikings to sign him for two years, and win two Super Bowls. But realistically, if you would sign Jared, then just flip back to a 4-3 and have Matthews put his hand in the dirt and rush the passer.

Zero2Cool (3h) : Put Quintorris in a pressure cooker.
uffda udfa (7h) : Back to football: Julio says he's going to play Sunday. Did NOT say he wouldn't be limited in the game.

uffda udfa (7h) : Favorite Ronnie Milsap song? Smokey Mountain Rain or Any Day Now?
uffda udfa (11h) : Favorite GM candidate... Wolf or Gutekunst?
uffda udfa (11h) : I'd rather sit them than play them too compromised.

Zero2Cool (11h) : If this were a regular-season game, Nelson, Adams and Allison probably would not play, MM says.
Smokey (12h) : Mason Crosby is ill, hope it's not the Flu.
Smokey (12h) : Great, can we move past that story and get back to the Atlanta game ?
Zero2Cool (12h) : Packers exec Eliot Wolf has withdrawn his name for 49ers' GM job, as @TomPelissero reported. He didn't feel it was the right time.

Smokey (14h) : Raiderpride asked, "Anyone know what Crosby's illness is?"
Zero2Cool (14h) : Davante Adams expected to play- KFFL

FLORIDA PACKER88 (17h) : Davis, G-Mo, and Janis will need to step up, but all three did score last time we played ATL!
FLORIDA PACKER88 (17h) : Does Janis become a playoff hero second year in a row? Looks we're gonna have to find out either way regardless. Thank God for a healthy Cob
Smokey (17h) : Is Mason Crosby's health OK ?
Smokey (18h) : What's in your Coffee ?
uffda udfa (18-Jan) : Sit Davante if he has a bad ankle. We remember 2015.
